Have you tried using Facebook's New Group Search Function to Find a Job?
If you're currently looking for a job, Facebook's mobile app has a great new function that can help.
There are now a number of Facebook groups such as "Looking for Jobs in Norwich" (http://facebook.com/groups/jobsnorwich) where employers are regularly posting job opportunities.
If you aren't yet using these groups for your job search or recruitment drive, why not head over and join? Just search "jobs in (your town or city)" on Facebook and find a group near you.
If you do use these groups for your job search you may find Facebook's new group search function very useful.
Found near the top of the group, the "Search" button can now be used to search only in the specific group and for exactly the type of job you want.
Simply click the "search" button under the group photo and you will notice that your app has included "in (group name)" next to your text entry box.
You can now enter the type of job you are searching for, i.e. "sales assistant", "retail manager" etc. or enter the contract type, i.e. "permanent", "full time" and click "Search". You will then see any posts that match your needs.
No more scrolling through all group posts searching for that one suitable job!
You can also combine search terms and find jobs that even better match your requirements i.e. "full time sales assistant".
You can even find job posts by carrying out a new search from the "Search" box right above your Facebook news feed. For example; type in "looking for FULL TIME jobs in Norwich" and see what you can find.
We hope you found this post useful. If you think it might help someone you know, just click "share"!
