Santa stopped by after his busy night to drop off some presents and luckily everyone had been good boys and girls so there were no lumps of coal. It was great to see the residents smiling and laughing with the big man. Merry Christmas everyone hope all your Christmas wishes come true.

Christmas Bingo went well this afternoon, everyone was pleased with their prizes and had a lot of fun.

We had a lovely afternoon making some beautiful Christmas floral displays with Windsor Flowers while being serenaded by Patrick Jervis - Entertainer. It felt very Christmassy, a perfect start to Christmas week.

This afternoon we had a great Carol service with a member of Clergy representing Pinhoe Church. Everyone was in fine voice and their voices could be heard throughout the home.

Yesterday we had another great visit from Marie at Animals2usouthwest we met some tortoises, a bearded dragon and a corn snake. It’s always great to meet and learn about the animals.

Here’s a few photos from our last Knit and natter group of 2025. They will be starting up again on Tuesday the 13th of January. As you can see it’s worth a visit even if just for the cake.

What a great day we have had, we started with some reminiscing and a bit of magic and finished the afternoon with some Christmas colouring and a film.

We have had a lovely afternoon today. We started with some flower arranging with Windsor Flowers and then got serenaded by the wonderful Zara King who sang some great Christmas songs with the help of the residents.

Yesterday we had a great day. Westclyst primary school choir came and sang for us in the morning followed by Bob and Isabelle then in the afternoon headed to the North Pole for a Christmas Party. It all ended with a big snowball fight and turns out a lot of the residents have great aim.
