Before I start the next chapter of the business, I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to the girls in Wood & Co Salon & Training, Tranquil Touch Relaxation Therapy, Nails by Stacey, By Jordan Jones and Dolly’s Lashes (and Summer!) for making the last 3+ years so great!

Over the past 3+ years, I have grown the business from a part-time "finding my feet" position, to now being ready to take on my own treatment space.

Starting back when the salon was still "A Nu U Beauty & Brows", you've all seen me throw myself right into business life. You've also seen me work at more charity events than I can count, achieve some incredible personal goals (no half marathons this year thankfully!), and shared some huge milestones with me.

Change is never easy, but I'm definitely excited to see what this next chapter has in store. . . .

We are still 'business as usual' in the salon this week, and then CAM Therapies will close for just over a week as we get the new treatment space looking and feeling incredible for you all! 🫶🏼

Thank you all for your ongoing support. You have kept me motivated during a period that has felt quite overwhelming at times. There are a lot of plates spinning and decisions to be made, so thank you for your patience as I navigate all of the upcoming work and changes.

A central location, right in the heart of the city — making it easier than ever to fit your appointments into your day.

There’s even free parking nearby for up to 3 hours (Waitrose & TK Maxx car park), so getting to your appointment can feel simple, calm, and stress-free from the moment you arrive.

Conveniently located close to shops, gyms (Garrett’s, PureGym, Limitless), and plenty of food spots for a quick lunch or dinner (just behind Fletcher’s) — making it easy to build your appointment into your day, however that looks for you.

This move is about more than just a new space — it’s about creating the right environment for your treatments, your time, and your experience from start to finish.

It’s also a personal step forward for me — an opportunity to grow CAM Therapies, develop what I offer, and continue building something that truly supports the people who walk through the door.

I took a massive risk 4.5 years ago when I decided to start my own business and step away from my substantive post as a Registered Nurse. To see how far things have come since then—and to now be in a position where I truly love what I do for a living—feels like a dream realised. 👩‍⚕️🥰

I was privileged to be a part of Team MacMillan yesterday at the HYROX in Glasgow.

We helped support so many participants who absolutely smashed the course, achieved PBs and also raised an incredible amount of money for charity.

Exhausted doesn't even come close to describing how I felt after such a busy day, but being a part of this event was one of the best experiences and reinforces why I love doing what I do for a living.

Nice to get out of the treatment room now and then 🫶🏼

As CAM Therapies continues to grow and move into an exciting new chapter, I’ve been reflecting on how far the practice has come and how my own experience, skills and expertise have become more refined over the years.

With the move into a new city-centre space and my ongoing commitment to providing the high standard of care that’s always been at the heart of what I do, I’ve taken some time to review treatment pricing.

I’ve also taken time to look at my block booking options, creating a way for you to continue receiving treatments at the current prices when purchasing a course in advance.

This simply helps support the continued growth of the practice and allows me to keep offering the level of care and attention that means so much to me — and to you.

𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬:

■ 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, new prices will apply to all new clients.

■ Existing clients who have booked within the last six months can continue to book at current prices until the end of May.

■ 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, the full updated pricing structure will apply to all clients.

New single-session prices:
⭐️ 30 minutes → £40
⭐️ 45 minutes → £50
⭐️ 60 minutes → £60
⭐️ 90 minutes → £90

(And yes, you did notice — the 75-minute session has disappeared. Honestly, it wasn’t booked very often, and the other sessions are always full, so this just makes things simpler and easier to book! The 90-minute session also has a slightly bigger increase, but this is proportionate to the other session times and reflects the additional effort required for longer appointments.)

𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬

To thank and reward consistency, block bookings allow you to maintain the current individual session prices:

This gives you the opportunity to continue receiving the current rates, while still benefiting from the improvements and growth of the practice. You may notice a slightly larger increase with block bookings, which reflects the adjustments in the individual session prices.

Gift Vouchers and existing Block Bookings will be honoured and 𝐧𝐨 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 when redeeming. Please just notify me in advance if you intend to redeem a Gift Voucher.

February is usually one of the quieter months for me at CAM Therapies, but certainly not this year! We may have had a little blip when I picked up an injury but, luckily, it didn't impact things too much.

In February:

👋🏼 We welcomed 8 new clients to CAM Therapies – most appointments were filled with familiar faces 🥰

⭐️ Our most popular treatments were full body sessions of Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Aromatherapy/Deep Tissue Massages. You must have all been carrying the tension on from the Christmas period 😅

🧠 I've undertaken advanced practice training which now allows me to perform musculoskeletal assessments and stretching when required. This is where I feel that things have leveled up a notch 🙌🏼

🩵 My working hours were reduced slightly to create a better work-life balance....and what a difference it has made already! I've enjoyed so much more me-time and been able to get out of work mode.

📖 As we head into March, the diary is almost full (again). All remaining availability and cancellation slots will be posted in the stories section regularly. I will be creating a Special Offer for Mother's Day Gift Vouchers and I also have some BIG and EXCITING news to share!

Today was a productive one, reaffirming some existing techniques and learning a whole set of new skills!

This course took things back to basics and reinforced 𝘸𝘩𝘺 we do things the way that we do.
