Open Mic seeking performers - music, poetry, spoken word, etc.
Performers must have experience of challenging circumstances, which their content must also be about.
The Messages From the HeARTlands project is all about providing a platform for creative expressions of 'lived experience' of challenging circumstances. Each piece performed must carry a message of some sort, to those in power; services, local leaders, commissioners, society in general. The message may be discreet.
All performer slots pre-allocated. DM or contact theintersectioncic@gmail.com for more information. You will be asked to share the pieces you will be performing, so you might like to include these in your message.
This celebration event is the project finale, and will include invitation to participate in creative activities, the full exhibition, and talks from artists.
The venue is accessible - the event will be held downstairs.
