Please, please take a read and watch at this beautiful human soul and who/what she was all about, as we’re currently beginning the start of The Claire Chick Nursing Fund and the coming together to honour the memory of our Claire Chick.
Claire was tragically taken from us far too soon.
Claire’s loss has left an enormous hole in the hearts of everyone who knew her. She was a kind, caring, fun, and compassionate person — someone who always brought warmth, laughter, and light to those around her.
To celebrate Claire’s life and keep her memory alive, we’re first up organising a fundraising event/auction in her honour. We’re currently seeking raffle prize donations however big or small to help make the event a success.
Whether it’s a gift voucher, a hamper, an experience, or any thoughtful item — every contribution will help us create something truly special in Claire’s name.
All proceeds will go towards The Claire Chick Memorial fund, that will provide support for domestic violence and opportunities for student nurses to travel to the universities European counterpart. This project looks to get student nurses and lecturers together every year, to share experiences and challenges they face, Claire lead on this project for the university and was often frustrated when she couldn’t take everyone that had applied due to funding.
There will also be grants available to student nurses that may be experiencing domestic violence issues and who need financial support to seek safe accommodation or resources.

I will be focusing mostly also on future sporting events with the commencement of 100 half marathons in 50 weeks just around the corner and other ideas.
