It’s with a heavy heart that I’d like to share that I’ll be leaving my role to start a new job in January. 💙

I want to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to everyone I’ve met along the way — especially the Plymouth Cancer Champion Team, everyone at Macmillan and Zebra, and of course the many amazing Cancer Champions and community members who have joined us for our Cake and Cuppas. Your support, kindness, and commitment have meant so much to me.

If anyone is interested in applying for my role, it’s currently being advertised here:

Wishing you all a very Happy Christmas 🎄, and I’d absolutely love to see as many of you as possible at my last Cake and Cuppa at Mount Wise Neighbourhood Centre on Monday 5th January 2026 at 1pm.

Hope to see you there ☕🍰 Niqui Bond

The Plymouth Community Cancer Champions Project is a three-year test & learn initiative which began in April 2024, funded by Macmillan Cancer Support, hosted by Zebra Collective in close collaboration with Age UK Plymouth and the Wolseley Trust Social Prescribing Team.
