💙 International Men’s Day: Celebrating Men and Boys 💙
On November 19, the world marks International Men’s Day, a day to recognise the positive value that men bring to their families, communities, workplaces, and the wider world. It’s a moment to highlight positive role models and raise awareness around men’s wellbeing.
The theme for 2025 is ‘Celebrating Men and Boys’. Man Down and this theme couldn’t resonate more deeply.
Every week, across the UK, we create safe, supportive, non-judgemental spaces for men to:
💛 Open up
🖤 Connect
💛 Be heard
🖤 Support one another
💛 Be celebrated for who they are
We believe that every man deserves to feel valued, supported, and understood, not only when they’re struggling, but also in their everyday strengths, kindness, resilience, humour, and humanity.
Our work is built on:
✨ Positive role modelling – Men showing other men what openness, empathy, and strength really look like.
✨ Community connection – Reminding men that they don’t have to face life’s challenges alone.
✨ Championing wellbeing – Normalising conversations about mental health so every man feels safe asking for help when he needs it.
✨ Supporting the next generation – Helping men today know that expressing emotion is a strength, not a weakness so future boys grow up knowing it’s okay.
Today, we celebrate all men and boys in our communities 🙌
Those who show up.
Those who support others.
Those who are struggling but still keep going.
Those who haven’t yet asked for help but might take that first step soon.
You are valued. You matter. And you’re not alone.
If you or someone you know could benefit from connection, conversation or support, Man down - supporting men’s mental health is here.
Together, we can build a community where men and boys feel celebrated, every day of the year.
Let’s talk about it
