Is it Real? Reincarnation and Rebirth – Part 1
Fragments of Light Series

What lies beyond this lifetime? In a playful mood, Richard explores the notion of reincarnation, taking a wide-angle view of the potential benefits of consciously adopting this worldview.

Often, we focus on our past lives and who we were, and the karma we brought with us into this life. But I am more interested in who I am going to be, because who I am going to be is being created and imprinted out of how I am now, from my thoughts and my behaviour. So I am setting my trajectory into the future, which can be a really beautiful thing.

Instead of fixating on who we were, Richard asks: Who are we becoming? With humour and lightness, he reminds us that, whether or not it is true, reincarnation can be embraced as a healthy narrative – one that broadens our horizons, eases our fear of death and gives us the freedom to consciously seed the future.
