Don't you just love this song!? 🤣🤣

On another note, do you ever find yourself bloated or uncomfortable after grabbing a quick snack?

It’s so common with IBD and stomas, many “healthy” foods are actually high FODMAP and can trigger bloating, gas, and pain.

Some of the big ones to watch out for are:

❌ Onions & garlic

❌ Apples & pears

❌ Cashews & pistachios

❌ Wheat-based breads & wraps

❌ Lentils & chickpeas (in large amounts)

When you avoid these triggers and swap them for gut-friendly alternatives, you can enjoy snacks that actually fuel you without the bloat. 🙌

That’s exactly why I created my Smooth Almond Protein Balls, they’re low FODMAP, stoma + IBD friendly, and the perfect nourishing snack for on the go. No blockages, no stress and delicious 😋

And they’re just one of the many recipes in my Delicious eBook
🍓🥑🥦 40+ recipes and snacks that are anti-inflammatory, gut-friendly, and actually enjoyable!

I've already helped 60 people to eat more confidently with their stomas! 👌

Seven weeks ago, I started therapy, something I had resisted for a long time. And I’m so proud of myself for saying yes to that step, because already, things have started to shift!

Today we spoke about self love and the topic of feeling “enough”, because quite frankly I have been feeling worthless since the beginning of the year.

There was a time I believed I had to earn love, through how perfect I looked, how much I achieved, or how much I gave to others.
And when the love I longed for didn’t come, I blamed myself.

What I didn’t know back then… was that the love, safety, and vitality I was searching for outside of me were actually waiting to be remembered within me.

The moment I began honoring my body with rhythm, eating, moving, resting, and nourishing myself in alignment with my natural cycles, everything changed.

🔥My energy came back.
🔥 My relationship with food shifted from punishment to partnership.
🔥 My body stopped feeling like a battlefield and started feeling like home.
🔥 My confidence grew, not from chasing perfection, but from living in sync with my own rhythm.

That’s why I created Rhythmic Nourishment, a 12-week journey for women ready to restore harmony in their health, release the “all or nothing” cycles, and finally feel safe and supported in their own body.

Because nourishment isn’t just about food, it’s about rhythm.

The rhythm of your body.
The rhythm of your energy.
The rhythm of your life.

When you root yourself in self-love and nourishment, you naturally begin to attract:

💗 Health that feels sustainable
💗 Relationships that feel balanced
💗 Confidence that isn’t conditional
💗 A body you trust and love living in

This isn’t another diet or quick fix. It’s a re-connection to your inner wisdom, supported week by week with practices that align your body, heart, and soul with the rhythm of love.
If this resonates with you…

💥 DM me “READY” to claim your spot in Rhythmic Nourishment....

Love, Beth xx

Ps. I'm soooooo grateful for my beautiful kind therapist too 🩷

I'm going LIVE every week with you! 💞🤗🤎

Wildly Brave Women - Sharing stories of strength, living with IBD and Stomas

I’ve been so inspired by the incredible women I’ve met through instagram, all over the world, women living bravely with IBD or with a stoma.

Their journeys are raw, real, and full of strength.
And I kept thinking… these stories deserve to be heard.

So starting this Wednesday, I’m going LIVE every week right here on Instagram to hold space for these conversations. 🌍

We're staying off with the incredible Lauren .chiron.warrior 💪💞🤎

We’ll laugh, maybe cry, and most of all, shine a light on the resilience it takes to live fully with IBD and a Stoma.

This series is called Stories of Wildly Brave Women, because that’s exactly what they are, brave.

Come join us, ask questions and let’s celebrate the courage it takes to keep showing up, no matter what. 🌸

💬 If you’d love to share your own journey, drop a “SHARE” in the comments, I’d be honoured to connect with you.

You can have too much of a good thing! 🙈

Over the past couple of months, I’ve been having protein powder most days, trying to hit my protein goals.

But if you’re over 40 and upping your protein like I was, yet still feeling bloated, puffy, or exhausted, it might actually be doing more harm than good.

⚡ Too much protein for too long can trigger gluconeogenesis, your body turns protein into sugar, keeping you stuck in a fat-storing, sugar-burning state.
Been there, done that.

🧬 Low stomach acid (common after 40) can make protein harder to digest, leading to bloating, gas, and fatigue.

And let’s talk about protein quality, powders and bars aren’t all created equal ❌

Some are laced with heavy metals, artificial sweeteners, and flavours. Just because it says “protein” doesn’t mean it’s healthy!! ❌

💡 Here’s the thing: most women need around 1.2–1.6g of protein per kg of body weight per day (so if you weigh 65kg, that’s roughly 80–100g spread across meals). More isn’t always better, the sweet spot is enough to support muscle, hormones, and recovery without overloading your digestion.

Protein is powerful, but there’s a time and place for it, especially after 40. Digestion, metabolism, and diet variation are key.

What I Wish I Could Tell Her in 2009 💜

I’ve often wondered what it would have been like to have answers to all the questions I had after my IBD diagnosis.

If you’re living with IBD or a stoma, you know that feeling: overwhelmed, unsure about what to eat, worried about flare-ups, and wondering if life will ever feel normal again. 🤔

I remember the questions that ran through my head daily…

👉Will I ever eat without fear?
👉Will my body ever feel balanced?
👉Will I have the energy to enjoy life again?

Now, being able to answer some of those questions and help others do the same almost feels like magic, but the reality is far from it......

What looks like an “overnight transformation” wasn’t overnight at all. It took years of surgeries, adjustments, flare-ups, and trial and error, times when I felt lost, frustrated, and exhausted! 🥴

I don’t have all the answers, but I do have tools, strategies, and insights that have transformed my life and now I get to help my clients feel confident, nourished, and supported in their stoma journey.

Sharing this isn’t always easy… but if you feel like managing your stoma, your food, and your energy is your “forever,” please know this: things really can change.

I know because I’ve lived it and now I help women with stomas create a nourishing rhythm, energy, and confidence around food and life again.

Six years ago today my life changed forever

Getting a permanent stoma was NOT an easy choice and living with one ISN’t always easy either. Every single day comes with its own set of challenges. It is honestly like living with a full time job on top of our “normal” life!

But if you asked me to choose between this or rushing to the toilet 25 times a day like I used to… I’d choose this life, every single time.

Because my stoma gave me my freedom back.
My energy.
My chance to live fully again.

Over these six years, I’ve not only learned how to thrive with a stoma, I’ve also had the privilege of supporting, inspiring, and educating people all over the world to do the same. And that truly fills my heart.

Here’s to six years of resilience, growth, and gratitude and to continuing to show that life with a stoma can be full, happy, and truly lived.

I'd also like to take a moment to say thank you to absolutely everybody who has supported me loved me, cared for me. Been there through my good times and my bad times. I love you all very much 💓💓💓💓

With love, Beth ###
