What an incredible first few days of our Christmas Big Give campaign!

Not sure what to do with your Christmas tree after Christmas?🎄 We're got you covered!

This year we have joined in partnership with a local waste company Avon Material Supplies Ltd to provide a Prama Christmas Tree recycling service "Treecycling". For a minimum suggested donation of £10, we can collect your Christmas tree direct from your property on the 8th or 9th January. All collected tress are recycled by AMS and processed into new products. All donations we receive from this service will help us further support adults managing ill health, disability or age-related issues and their carers across Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and East Dorset.

Our Big Give Christmas Promotion starts tomorrow at midday.
Every donation made to PramaLife via our dedicated campaign page from tomorrow until 9th December 2025 will be doubled. 💕

So whatever you can give, no matter the size, every donation will make double the
difference in helping us to support people living with dementia and their carers.
The money raised will help fund PramaLife's 18 support groups for people living with dementia and 10 support groups for family carers. Participants of these groups experience better health and well-being and receive the support they need to mitigate the impact of dementia, as one carer said: “It’s been a life saver for us.”

In many of our shops we have regular customers who are looking for specific products. For example, we have a lovely lady in our Parkstone shop who buys our donated linen, which she then makes into beautiful quilts. These are then sold in our shops- this is what makes the cycle a Circular Economy! ♻💚

However, items don't need to be reworked to make them circular. Just donating or purchasing items from a second hand store makes a circular loop!

Our Christmas Big Give campaign officially kicks off on the 2nd December. This is an amazing opportunity to make twice the difference and have your donations to Prama doubled during the campaign period.
The money we receive will go towards supporting our PramaLife groups. Annie is one of the Carers who attends our Oakley Friends Carers Support Group, in this video she describes her experiences of being a carer and how the PramaLife Group has helped and supported her.
