With the seasons changing and temperatures going down. The skin needs more hydrating and moisturising. I introduce This little time saver. HYDRATING BATH BUTTER
Which contains Shea butter, Cocoa butter. Safflower oil and 4 botanicals. Which leaves the skin feeling smooth and protected.
Use is very simple at the end of your bathing. Simply emerge the cube in the water apply like a soap. Leave on skin and your moisturising is done.Can also be applied in a shower.

Raspberry and blackberry oxymel. This dates as far back to 500 BC when the' father of modern medicine ' Hippocrates used it for colds, coughs and sore throats. With it mucous-shifting, soothing and calming affect it is one of my favourite go too.

My favourite time of the year.🍁🍂🌿 Forging for the winter cold months. To help boost immunity, colds , flu and fevers. Also the mighty acorn which grows to mighty oak . Which is one of my favourite trees. For its wider uses throughout history 🌳

In 1893, amidst the landscapes of Slovakia, a woman named Izabela Textorisová identified a unique thistle species, a discovery that would later bear her name and solidify her legacy.

Born in 1866, Izabela is remembered as Slovakia's very first female botanist. She was a true pioneer in a field dominated by men.

Working mostly in the Turiec region, she dedicated her life to studying the local plant life. It was a passion that required immense dedication.

Through her meticulous work, she described over a hundred new plant species, a remarkable contribution to the understanding of the area's flora. 🌿

Her most famous discovery was a type of thistle that was new to science. In her honor, it was officially named *Carduus textorisianus*.

What's amazing is that Izabela was largely self-taught. She even learned Latin and German on her own so she could read botanical books and correspond with other experts in Europe.

Her work wasn't just a fleeting hobby. She prepared a vast collection of plant specimens called a herbarium. 📖

Today, her legacy continues. The impressive herbarium she created is preserved and still used by researchers at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Comenius University in Bratislava.
