Is life feeling difficult and overwhelming right now? Do you suspect you may be on the autistic spectrum or have you received a diagnosis and are trying to navigate life with this new information? Have you grown up trying to battle through life with an autistic diagnosis? I'm Carrie. Thank you for visiting my page. Emotional healthy posts and tips are posted here daily for you. If you feel you would like to find out more about how counselling may help you, please email me at: thelaurels@protonmail.com to arrange a free initial telephone consultation. I am an experienced and fully insured Person Centred Counsellor accredited in online and telephone counselling who also has experience in other modalities such as CBT so work according to your needs and requirements. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), which means I work within their Ethical Framework and I provide my clients with a caring, safe, empathic space where they can explore whatever difficulties and issues life is bringing, at their own pace and without feeling judged. We all feel nervous and anxious when we first begin counselling but in my experience it is a journey worth investing in and is the ultimate in self care, which is so important with the stresses and strains of modern day life and can lead to a deeper sense of fulfilment and happiness on so many levels. In these times with the rising cost of living I am offering counselling which is affordable, flexible and accessible, so concessions are always available. Please do ask.

Our teams will be hosting information stands about services, volunteering, fundraising and support, to encourage conversations about mental health at the following locations:

Leigh Park Community Centre - 9am to 2pm
Havant Rail Station - 8am to 9am and 4pm to 6pm
Meridian Centre (Havant) - 10.30am to 2pm

Anxiety can show up in physical symptoms too...Recognising it allows us to practice the techniques which work best for us such as breath work, mindfulness, walking or talking it out. We are all different so don't worry if one method works better than others... find what helps you best. As uncomfortable as the feelings are, it is your brain just working extra hard to protect you. Lose the fear, thank it and use the best calming response for you. The earlier you take control the better it will work.
