Christmas Jumper Day at Practice Plus Portsmouth St Mary’s

Our centre proudly joined thousands across the UK in supporting Save the Children for Christmas Jumper Day.

The team at Practice Plus Portsmouth St Mary’s went all-in for this brilliant cause — the office was transformed with festive colours, sparkles, and some truly bold Christmas knits

It was wonderful to see everyone come together, have a bit of fun, and help raise money for a charity that makes a real difference to children’s lives around the world.

Today we marked a very special milestone our 20th anniversary at PPG Portsmouth St Mary’s. We celebrated with a team lunch and proudly presented our Long Service Recognition Awards to colleagues who have dedicated so much to our patients and our community over the years.

A huge thank you to every member of our team for your continued passion, care, and commitment. Here’s to the next 20 years of making a difference together!

Today, our team at Practice Plus Group Surgical Centre St Mary’s Portsmouth came together to honour and remember all those who gave their lives in service to our country.

At 11am, staff and patients stood side by side to observe the two minutes’ silence a powerful and emotional moment of reflection shared across our centre.

Later, members of our team visited Milton Cemetery, where we learned about the Commonwealth War Graves and took time to pay our respects to those laid to rest there. We were deeply moved as we laid a wreath at the Milton Cross of Sacrifice in their honour.

To continue our tribute, we held a bake sale to raise funds for Scotty’s Little Soldiers wonderful charity supporting bereaved children of British Forces personnel.

We are proud to be a Veterans Aware Hospital and to stand united in remembrance.

We’re celebrating World Radiography Day, a day early here at PPG St Mary’s, Portsmouth

Our amazing Radiography team and support staff have put together a fun and educational display on the X-ray and the history of medical imaging, complete with some homemade themed treats – we love the skeleton biscuits and radioactive cupcakes! ☢️🦴🧁

A big thank you to the team for everything you do to keep patients safe and cared for every day.

We’re delighted to share that our Secondary Care division- our hospitals, surgical centres, UTCs, and CATS and diagnostic services- is to move under new ownership with Narayana Health, an Indian healthcare company that shares our passion for making high quality healthcare accessible for all.🤝

Narayana Health provide multi-specialty care, with one of the world’s largest cardiac, renal and oncology programs. They are regarded globally as having one of the most efficient healthcare models in terms of quality and costs of care.

The business will be led by Ross Dowsett, who steps up into the Chief Executive position with Jim Easton as Non-executive Chair, while Jim remains at the helm of our Health in Justice and Integrated Urgent Care divisions.🙌
