Is your current scooter too heavy or complicated to travel with? Meet the Equinox Smart by Icon Rehab—a scooter designed to make getting out and about easy again.

Here is how the Equinox Smart solves your biggest mobility challenges:

✅ No More Heavy Lifting

The Problem: Most scooters are too heavy to lift into a car boot.
The Solution: Weighing just 23.5kg (without batteries), the high-grade aluminium frame is feather-light. It's perfect if you have limited upper body strength or rely on family to help you lift it.

✅ Forget Complicated Setup

The Problem: Fiddling with latches and levers is frustrating. The Solution: This scooter features One-action Folding. It folds and unfolds easily in seconds—no tools, no effort, just pull a lever, lift and go.

✅ Easy Charging & Range

The Problem: You don't have an outdoor power point to charge your scooter. The Solution: The Lithium-ion batteries are removable. You can leave the scooter in the car or garage and just bring the lightweight batteries inside to charge. Plus, you get up to 20km range on a single charge!

🌟 Quick Specs:

Weight: 23.5kg (less without batteries & armrests)
Max User Weight: 125kg
Range: 20km (approx)
Folded Size: Ultra-compact for small spaces

One family. Three generations. 204 blood donations! 🩸

The Fellowes family has been saving lives since 1985. From Julian’s 119 donations to 17-year-old Oliver’s first few, they’re showing the world that the best family traditions are the ones that help others.

David (O+ Ro) helps sickle cell patients, while Amy sees the impact firsthand as a midwife.

💙 Today is Random Acts of Kindness Day! 💙

A day to celebrate the small, meaningful actions that make a big difference.

For carers and those who look after others, kindness isn’t random — it’s part of everyday life. It’s in the early mornings, the reassuring words, the extra bit of patience, and the quiet moments of support that help someone feel safe, valued, and cared for.

Today, we’re celebrating you — the family carers, professional carers, support workers, healthcare teams, and everyone who dedicates their time to looking after others. Your compassion, commitment, and kindness never go unnoticed.

✨ Thank you for everything you do, today and every day.

📢 Setting the Record Straight – Occupational Therapy in the Spotlight 🧠👩‍⚕️

The Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) has clarified an incorrect reference to occupational therapy in the new Netflix documentary The Investigation of Lucy Letby.

In the film, occupational therapy was mistakenly mentioned as having provided counselling and support during the case — but this was actually support from occupational health, not occupational therapy.

This distinction matters, and RCOT has formally highlighted the error to the production team so the profession is represented accurately in national media. 💬📺

👉 📄 Read the full RCOT statement: https://www.rcot.co.uk/latest-news/OT-incorrectly-referenced-Netflix-documentary

Occupational therapists play a vital role in health and wellbeing — and getting the language right helps raise public understanding of the profession. 🧡
