Ayurveda is the ancient Indian science of self-care and self-healing. The sister science to Yoga, it originated in India over 5000 years ago, and has been passed down through the generations in
timeless texts and living traditions. Universal in its scope and practical in its wisdom, Ayurveda
perfectly addresses the holistic wellbeing needs of the modern age.
A personalised lifestyle medicine, the individuality of the body-mind is assessed according to a
system known as the three Doshas, the bio-energetics which govern our unique physiology. In
this session we will discover the current status of our Doshas, and learn wellness practices to bring
balance.
Living in synchrony with the rhythms of Nature is key to an Ayurvedic way of life, and here we will understand the importance of alignment with the seasonal changes of Autumn and Winter, with simple lifestyle practices manifesting harmony in body mind and spirit.
