When you think about it in detail writing is a complex task. Many people with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) find writing especially difficult.

Specialist teacher, Loren Crisp collated these ideas that work for the children with. SLD

When teachers know about Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) and have simple strategies to support a student it can make a big difference.

These 'pencil case strategies' were designed so a high school student could show it to heir teachers. Especially important at high school, as there are so many teachers.

TOP TIP: make these with the individual young person so their views are included.
