At Western Elms Nursery, all children are treated as individuals and learning experiences are tailored towards their personality. We work closely with you as the parent to achieve the growth they need for their progression and development.

The nursery is divided into three age groups. These are Bumblebees who are aged 3 months to 2 years, Ladybirds who are aged 2 years to 3 years and Grasshoppers who are aged 3 years to school age. We look at each child as an individual and so it may be that a child moves to the next room slightly outside of these brackets.

Being a small, homely nursery, our staff know all of the children within the setting – this helps with transitions from room to room as they progress through the nursery.

We value our staff highly. Their input helps create an outstanding nursery experience tailored to each individual child. All staff are encouraged to build on their training portfolio, broadening both their knowledge and that of the team. We enjoy excellent staff retention.
