It was a wonderful day as we came together to celebrate and remember. Everyone proudly wore their poppies, and our amazing team - from kitchen, Lifestyle, nurses, carers, laundry, housekeeping, people living with us, managers, and families - joined in to make it a truly special day.

A big thank you to everyone who donated towards the Royal British Legion. 💂‍♀️

Our talented chef baked delicious poppy cakes that everyone enjoyed during our coffee morning ☕, and our residents had a great time doing arts and crafts to mark the occasion. 🎨

It was a beautiful day of remembrance, togetherness, and gratitude.

What an amazing day we had celebrating Remembrance Day here at The Devonshire!

The lovely people living with us enjoyed a beautiful afternoon filled with music, singing, and joyful moments together. A big thank you to Tony Collins for entertaining us and making the day extra special with his wonderful performance. 🌺

Those living with us had a wonderful time this week getting creative with some knitting for their loved ones and beginning to make their Christmas cards! 🎄💌

It was such a joy to welcome the lovely ladies from the knitting community, who joined us for a fun, relaxing, and heartwarming morning. There were lots of smiles, laughter, and lovely conversations all around.

The festive spirit has truly begun here - with Christmas songs playing softly in the background and everyone already feeling the joy of the season. 🎅✨

A big thank you to our knitting community friends for their time and kindness, and to our residents for their wonderful creativity and enthusiasm.

We had a fantastic evening celebrating Bonfire Night with all of the lovely people living with us and staff! 💥 Everyone gathered together to watch the fireworks, and it was heartwarming to see so many smiles and laughter all around.

The celebrations continued with some delicious cakes, tea, and coffee, making it a perfect cosy evening for everyone. ☕🍰

Our home was filled with festive cheer as we celebrated Diwali together. Beautiful decorations lit up every corner, creating a warm atmosphere. Those living with us enjoyed the sweetness of traditional treats, the blessings of tika, and the lively rhythm of music that brought everyone to their feet. We had a truly lovely morning at The Devonshire as we welcomed Father Adam for a special church service. The priest led a beautiful morning service and blessed all those living with us and staff, filling our home with peace and positivity.

After the service, everyone enjoyed a friendly coffee morning together - sharing conversations, laughter, and delicious treats. Moments like these bring comfort, and More...Connection to everyone.

The people living with us had a lovely afternoon filled with arts and crafts, creating beautiful birthday cards for their friends and getting creative together. We also enjoyed some classic board games, lots of laughter, and of course - coffee and cake to top it all off! ☕🍰

Sensory Fun and Smiles All Around!

Those living with us had a fantastic time enjoying a variety of More...Sensory activities this week! From exploring sensory items and reading, to soft ball games and more - the energy was contagious.

A special highlight was watching engaging videos from the More Portal on our laptops. Everyone was so excited! For our lovely residents who couldn’t leave their rooms, we brought the experience to them - with laptops right at their bedside so no one missed out.
