Massage for knee pain?

Yes it will help relive symptoms.

But.. Here’s the truth nobody wants to tell you.

Massage can help loosen the muscles around the knee for example the quads, glutes, hamstrings, calves.

But you need to do the work in the gym to strengthen the right muscle muscles and improve your form to stop it happen again.

I’ll happily massage your knee into silence every week…

but if you want it to shut up permanently, we still have to do the work.

Pain is essential sometimes in massage to help increase mobility or reduce stiffness.

Foam rollers for me are far more effective than stretching for reducing muscle pains and increases range of movement.

It may be something that gets overlooked and collects dust but it’s an effective toll when used correctly.

The Swiss ball hamstring curl is one of the most underrated hamstring exercises , I do this one a lot for my inning training.

It destroys the hamstrings both concentrically AND eccentrically with almost zero equipment.

Why it’s so good:
