If you’ve followed along for the last 12 days, even quietly, I want you to pause for a moment.

Because these 12 days weren’t about fixing yourself.

They weren’t about doing everything perfectly.

They were about noticing, softening, and supporting yourself in small but powerful ways.

You’ve explored things like:

• slowing your breath
• quietening overthinking
• doing one thing at a time
• protecting your energy
• pausing before saying yes
• letting go of pressure
• being kinder to yourself
• bringing your focus back to today

Those aren’t small things.

They’re skills, and they last.

So today’s final reset is simple, reflective, and important.

Ask yourself:

“Which one small thing from the last 12 days helped me the most?”

It might be:

Yesterday I had the absolute honour of speaking at the MIB Networking Christmas meeting in Reading - https://www.facebook.com/groups/mibreading/

What an incredible room of women.

We didn’t talk about doing more.

We didn’t talk about fixing what’s “wrong”.

Instead, we did something far more powerful.

🌿 Reflect – We took time to recognise what these wonderful women are already doing right. Their strengths, resilience, and quiet wins, and we anchored those feelings in, so they don’t get lost in the noise of everyday life.

🌬 Reset – We gently let go of what no longer serves them. Old pressures, expectations, and stories that had been weighing them down. Using a simple but deeply effective NLP technique, they physically and emotionally released what they’re ready to leave behind.

🌟 Rise – And then… we rose.
Through a powerful hypnosis, they saw themselves stepping into the future with ease, confidence, and clarity, going for what they want without forcing, hustling, or self-doubt.

The energy in the room was calm, grounded, and quietly powerful.

That moment when women realise they don’t need to become someone else, they just need to reconnect with who they already are, never gets old.

✨ Day 11 of 12 to feel less overwhelmed: The “Compassion Over Criticism” Reset

When you’re overwhelmed, the loudest voice in your head is often the most unkind one.

“You should be coping better.”
“Why can’t you just get on with it?”
“Everyone else seems fine.”
“You’re behind.”
“You’re failing.”

That voice doesn’t motivate you, it exhausts you.

So today’s tiny reset is about changing the tone of that inner voice, even just a little.

⭐The “Compassion Over Criticism” Reset⭐

When you notice yourself being harsh or critical, pause and ask:
“What would I say to someone I care about in this moment?”

Then try one of these gentle replacements:

💬 “This is hard, and that makes sense.”
💬 “I’m doing the best I can right now.”
💬 “I don’t have to be perfect to be okay.”
💬 “It’s okay to slow down.”
💬 “I’m allowed to need support.”

You don’t need to silence the inner critic completely. Just soften it. Because compassion calms your nervous system. And a calm nervous system makes overwhelm easier to handle.

Day 10 of 12 to feel less overwhelmed: The “Pull It back to today” Reset

When you’re overwhelmed, your mind doesn’t stay in the present.

It jumps into the future and starts imagining worst-case scenarios:

“What if I mess this up?”
“What if it all goes wrong?”
“What if I can’t cope?”
“What if people think…?”
“What if this is just how it’s going to be?”

Your brain isn’t trying to stress you out; it’s trying to protect you by preparing for everything at once.

But that kind of thinking creates huge overwhelm.

So today’s tiny reset is about calming the future noise and grounding yourself back into today.

⭐The “Pull It back to today” Reset⭐

When you notice your thoughts jumping to the worst-case or running ahead, pause and ask:

“What do I actually need to deal with today?”

Not tomorrow.
Not next week.
Not next year.
Just today.

Then choose ONE of these grounding statements:

💬 “Right now, I’m safe.”
💬 “I only need to focus on today.”
💬 “Future-me will handle future things.”
💬 “What’s one small step I can take right now?”
💬 “I don’t need to solve everything all at once.”

This shifts your mind out of catastrophising
→ and back into clarity and control.

Overwhelm shrinks when you bring your attention home.

Feeling overwhelmed often comes with feeling tired, flat, or low on energy, not just physically, but emotionally too.

The good news!

You don’t need a big transformation to feel better.

Just a tiny boost can shift your whole day.

Today’s reset is simple:
⭐The “What Helps Me Feel 5% Better?” Reset⭐

Ask yourself:

“What is ONE small thing that would make me feel 5% better today?”

Not 50%.

Not perfect.

Just 5%.

It might be:

☕ a warm drink
🚿 a shower
🌿 stepping outside for 2 minutes
🎧 listening to one song you love
📱 muting a chat for the day
🧠 finishing one small task
💬 talking to someone who feels safe
🛏 tidying a tiny area
✨ taking a 60-second pause
🐾 stroking a pet
😂 watching something light and silly

A huge amount of overwhelm comes from invisible pressure you put on yourself, often without even realising it.

Pressure to get everything done.
Pressure to be okay.
Pressure to reply straight away.
Pressure to keep everyone happy.
Pressure to not fall behind.
Pressure to “have it all together.”

So today’s reset is about releasing just one piece of pressure you’re carrying.

⭐The “Drop One should do" Reset⭐

Take 10 seconds and complete this sentence:

“Today, I’m letting go of the pressure to… ____.”
It might be:

💬 …finish everything on my to-do list.
💬 …pretend I’m okay when I’m not.
💬 …say yes to things I don’t have the energy for.
💬 …be productive every single minute.

When your space feels cluttered, messy or “busy,” your mind has to work twice as hard to focus, relax or think clearly.

So today’s tiny reset is easy, quick and surprisingly powerful:

⭐The 2-Minute Mini-Declutter⭐

Set a timer for 2 minutes.

Then choose ONE of these:
🧹 Clear a surface (desk, bedside table, counter)
📚 Put away 5 things
💧 Wipe down the area you’re using
👜 Empty your bag/pockets and keep only what you need
🗂️ Delete/move 10 emails or files
📱 Move the apps you don’t use off your home screen
🛏️ Smooth out your bed or tidy one small area

Two minutes.

Not perfect.

Not a full tidy.

Just a moment that gives your brain a little breathing space.
Why it works:

Your mind relaxes when your environment feels less chaotic.
Small order creates mental clarity.

Overthinking is one of the quickest ways to feel overwhelmed.
Your mind can turn a tiny worry into a full-blown story in seconds, even when nothing has actually happened.

So today’s tiny reset is a tool that pulls you out of the spiral and brings you back into reality.

⭐The “Fact or Thought?” Reset⭐

When your mind starts spiralling, pause and ask:

“Is this a fact… or just a thought?”

A fact is something proven, solid, or real.
A thought is a feeling, a worry, a prediction, a fear, a guess, a story your brain is telling to keep you ‘safe’.

Here’s the magic:

The moment you label something as a thought, it loses power.
Your brain goes from
panicking →
to observing →
to calming.

Examples:

🧠 “Everyone is judging me.”
→ Thought, not fact.

🧠 “What if I fail?”
→ Thought, not fact.

🧠 “I have too much to do today.”
→ Thought and feeling, so break it into one small step.

🧠 “I have a deadline tomorrow.”
→ Fact, which means you can take action (one small step) instead of spiralling.

⭐ Today’s reset:

Whenever you feel your mind getting loud, ask:
“Fact or thought?”

It brings clarity.
It stops spirals.
It lowers overwhelm.

And it puts you back in control, not your fear.

✨ Day 5 of the 12 days of feel less overwhelmed: The “Pause Before You Say Yes” Reset

A lot of overwhelm doesn’t come from what you have to do…

It comes from the things you agreed to when you were already tired, stressed or overloaded.

Saying yes too quickly is something so many of us do, because we don’t want to disappoint anyone…

because it feels easier than explaining… or because it’s a habit we’ve never questioned.

So today’s tiny reset is simple but life-changing:
🌟The 3-Second Pause🌟

Before you say yes to anything today, take three seconds and ask yourself:
“Do I really have the capacity for this?”

If the answer is no (or even “I don’t know”), try using one of these gentle phrases:

💬 “I need a minute to think about that.”
💬 “I’m not sure I have the capacity today.”
💬 “I’ll get back to you.”
💬 “I can’t do that right now.”
💬 “Not today, but maybe another time.”

You’re not being difficult.
You’re not being rude.
You’re protecting your energy and your peace.

Overwhelm doesn’t start with big decisions.
It starts with tiny yeses that weren’t right for you.

Today, choose what’s right for you.
