It’s Malnutrition Awareness Week! A key opportunity to highlight why early detection through effective screening is so essential — and how the right nutrition support can transform outcomes.

Last week, some of our team attended the BAPEN Annual Conference in Wales. It was fantastic meeting so many dedicated dietitians and HCPs, and we loved the opportunity to spotlight our ONS range - designed to support individuals at risk of or experiencing malnutrition.

This year’s BAPEN conference opening address spotlighted the urgent need for more robust malnutrition data across the UK and encouraged all dietitians to take part in the UK Survey of Malnutrition Risk and Nutritional Care. The survey launches this and will remain open until the end of the year. If you wish to take part, visit: https://patientdata-form.bapen.org.uk/

🎙️If you’ve not yet tuned in, Rebecca Tobi and Kate Arthur take a deep dive into the nuance behind meat, public health, sustainability, and what different groups in society really need.

🎧Here Kate discusses how complex these considerations can be — especially when thinking about vulnerable groups in society who may have higher nutrient requirements.
