The Guild of Analytical Psychologists (G.A.P.) is an Analytical Psychology and psychotherapy training organisation in London G.A.P.

Jungian Analysis

The Guild of Analytical Psychologists (G.A.P.) is a Jungian psychotherapy training organisation based in London. The Guild of Analytical Psychology and Spirituality was founded in 1987 by a group of Jungian analysts in response to the need for a therapeutic orientation that would place particular emphasis on the religious and spiritual aspects of Jung's works. In 2012, its name was changed to The Guild of Analytical Psychologists (G.A.P.) is founded on the psychological theories and practice as developed by C.G. Jung, with the emphasis on the religious dimension of the psyche. This was in contrast to the prevailing attitude in the psychological world of the time. Spirituality is regarded as an integral aspect of the person’s psychological health, having an importance equal to the physical, emotional and mental. In line with Jung’s approach to psychotherapy, G.A.P. affirmed from the beginning the integrity of the psyche in its search for meaning. Psychological health is seen less as a reductive process into causes and origins, but rather as a purposive search for the transcendent meaning of an individual’s life.

The course is an online, two-term Introductory Course, starting in January 2026. Over twenty seminars, held one evening per week on Wednesdays 6pm-8pm, the course provides an introduction to the life and work of Carl Gustav Jung and a basic overview of the key analytic concepts from the Classical School of Jungian psychology.
It conveys Jung’s unique contribution to the understanding of the psyche, particularly the interface between analytical psychology and spirituality. The Introductory Course consists of talks and presentation given by Jungian Analysts who are Members of G.A.P.

GAP, IGAP and AJA present
On Neurodiversity: Theoretical and Clinical Aspects
an online conference taking place over 3 days:

7pm to 9pm on 28 November 2025
10.30am to 4.30pm on 29 November 2025
10.30am to 12.30pm on 30 November 2025

The conference is open to all qualified, practicing psychotherapists, psychiatrists, psychoanalysts and Jungian analysts.
Individuals with neurodiversity have been present in our practices for many years, often unrecognised for the issues they bring into analysis. This weekend's seminars will examine the predispositions, dynamics, essential elements, and hierarchy of needs when working with neurodiverse individuals. The sessions will provide an in- depth, Jungian-focused exploration of ADHD, autism, and dyslexia. There will be discussions on the psychological and philosophical aspects of diagnoses as well as an exploration of psychiatric classifications. Additionally, the seminars will address differential diagnoses of presentations, which is crucial for our practice. We aim to contribute to the theoretical understanding of these subjects alongside the practical experience of working with neurodiversity.
