Sometimes life can feel overwhelming. Regardless of any unexpected issues arising from nowhere our day to day lives can sometimes just feel overwhelming

We are all busy with jobs, children, finances, shopping, exercising etc etc and sometimes feel like we are living in a 'Rat Race' or that we a living 'Ground Hog Day' and those feelings are totally natural so dont ever feel guilty

Instead of feeling guilt just TAKE A MOMENT

Take a moment to stop your own world, to breathe, to gather your thoughts, to inhale the positivity, to exhale the stress - worry - anxiety, to take yourself to a peaceful place for just A MOMENT ๐Ÿ’•

When we create a to do list we know what we are aiming to achieve within that day/week

A to do list clear's your 'brain junk' because you move them from your mind onto paper. Your mind is then clear enough to concentrate and create focus on the tasks ahead

Ticking of a job once completed creates a feeling of accomplishment and fulfillment then motivation to crack on with the next job on my list

If i dont create lists i get easily distracted then by the time i know it your day has gone and youve done nothing you feel is productive even though you have and that is because your mind had too much to deal with

What is gratitude?

Gratitude is being thankful and showing appreciation. Gratitude can be show verbally to somebody, mentally โ€“ within your own thoughts or by filling in a gratitude journal
No matter how we are feeling, we will always have at least one thing that we are grateful for in every day. Some days we may struggle to think of something that we are grateful for but once we take a moment we will realise at least one
Being grateful does not mean massive scale. We can be grateful for the most simplest of things in life for example the heat in our homes, the fast wifi we have to work from home with, the evening meal we thoroughly enjoyed or even our kids behaviour that day. Being grateful for something literally has no limits
Showing gratitude creates focus on the positive points in your life and day rather than the negative which can drag you down. Feeling positive within yourself has a great impact on your mental state, actions, motivation, mothering, friendships, relationships and work
Every night I complete the gratitude journal shown below to reflect on my daily gratitude and plan improvement for the next day. I purchase this from Wilkoโ€™s in Redcar but there are many gratitude journals on the market. I thoroughly enjoy filling this journal and every few weeks I read back and see how my gratitude changes

Some people complete their daily gratitude journals out on a morning but I prefer night time because I reflect on that day, at the end of the day to then plan on improvements for the following day

Self Care Importance ๐Ÿฅฐ

Practising self care on a regular basis enables you to โ€˜Check inโ€™ with yourself and create or maintain a healthy relationship within your mind, body and soul.
Self care can be anything from eating good nutrition, exercising, applying a face mask whilst enjoying a hot bubbly soak, taking time out to read a book, attending a self development course, enjoying a nail appointment to spending quality time with your kids

Self care is anything that is positive, calms you mind and soul or has a positive impact on your body. Nobody in the world is more important than YOU, literally nobody! The reason I state this fact is because if your mind and body are not working to its full potential you may be lacking nutrition, motivation, energy, self belief which WILL have a negative impact on your mindset and actions

So whatever makes you happy from withinโ€ฆโ€ฆ Do it!!
