I just coached a client in how to apply the language and behaviour profile through a bit of conversational cosching. To protect the innocent they obviously remain anonymous, but let's just say that he was concerned for a loved one who stubbornly resisted going to a&e for a minor issue, but an issue that could have turned nasty quickly.

I guided him to identify their patterns through their language and behaviours and confirmed a strong pattern of 'internal', 'reactive, 'sameness', and 'options'... and from the behaviours presented with this combination of patterns, we were able to prepare the right words and phrases for maximum influence.

The conversation between him and his loved one was stubbornly resistant, and brief. They clearly weren't wanting to tall about it. A little over 20mins later his loved one called back and said they'd decided to go to a&e after all with his support.

Now I don't know precisely what was said between him and his loved one, but from several days worth of stubbornly resistance to action within 20minutes certainly sounds like an effective intervention and influence.

This is the power of the LAB Profile and the influence it can have in a purely conversational context... imagine what it can do for you in your life if you could spot the patterns, talk the patterns' language and elegantly exert that influence.

I can relate to many of the points listed and I would lay these points over the fundamental meta programs that are behind all human behaviour and decision making processes. When these programs align with some adhd spikes or troughs there's some kind of constructive or destructive emphasis perhaps. Awareness of our meta programs and how to shift the patterns they create just might help us control and nudge our adhd profile too giving us the edge to choose when to supercharge our superpowers rather than the unpredictability of adhd often portrayed....just a thought.... ADHD is deeply misunderstood.
Most people think it’s just “being easily distracted.”
But ADHD is a complex neurological condition—and it comes with strengths most people never talk about.
Here are 8 truths about ADHD everyone should know:
1. It’s not a lack of attention—it’s a dysregulation of it.
People with ADHD can hyperfocus for hours on what they love—and totally ignore everything else. It’s not about laziness, it’s about control.
