Happy 1st Apsidaversary Isabelle!

“Isabelle joined the team in March 2025 and in that short time has come a long way. We couldn’t be prouder.

She arrived with no formal Marketing experience, but brought infectious energy, curiosity, and a real hunger to learn. With guidance from our brilliant Head of Marketing, , Isabelle has taken every challenge thrown her way and turned it into momentum.

A year on, Isabelle is now doing a phenomenal job running the marketing function while Charlotte is on maternity leave, all while mentoring and supporting our newest team member, Millie.

Isabelle is a brilliant example of what happens when talent, attitude, and opportunity meet. We’re incredibly lucky to have her on the team.

Last week, Team Marketing visited the London office and spent the day with , .cl , and .

The day started at with breakfast and a view, a thank you from Harry for all of Marketing’s work kicking the year off.

By lunchtime, the guys had squeezed in a run and sauna session, well deserved after Harry’s strong start to the quarter.

With it being Thirsty Thursday, the day naturally wrapped up with a few drinks at The Oyster Shed before the commute home.

A busy day well spent in the City.

After a short break, our Meet the Team series is back. Next up is , Director of US Contracts in our Boston office.

David has spent the past eight years in life science recruitment, specialising in contract hiring. Over that time he’s built particular expertise in medical writing and biometrics.

His impact at Apsida was immediate. Just three weeks in, David secured the fastest 360 deal in Apsida’s history.

Considering he broke a record within his first three weeks, his advice is probably worth listening to:

"Recruitment has a lot of highs and lows. If you master consistency, you’re already ahead of most."

When he’s not busy breaking Apsida records, you’ll usually find him exercising with his dog or travelling. Portugal is a particular favourite, and also where he met his wife.

Most of us know him as David, but his real name is actually Harman. In his family, it’s tradition to go by their middle name.

Great to have you on the team… David. Or should we say Harman.

Last Sunday marked International Women’s Day, so we asked some of the women at Apsida one question:

“What’s one piece of advice you’d give your younger self?”

Before settling on their final answers, there were a few suggestions... including a very firm: “Do not cut your own fringe”

Safe to say the finished responses are slightly more meaningful.

In honour of International Women’s Day, our lovely ladies were treated to an early finish and some flowers.

The team also dressed in green, white and purple today. Colours that have long been associated with the movement supporting women’s equality.

A small way for us to recognise and celebrate the incredible women across our team.

This weekend we’re celebrating 3 year anniversary at Apsida!

“I remember the first time I met Matt… in a steak restaurant in Madrid, we had flown in especially to meet him whilst he was visiting Europe from the US.

Immediately, I was taken by his calmness and charisma. It can’t have been an easy situation to find himself in and yet he held himself in the exact way we’ve come to know and love him for.

It’s no wonder that Matt has such fantastic relationships with his clients - always attentive, vastly knowledgeable and invested in doing the right thing. All these attributes (and more) have made Matt a joy to work with and a huge asset to Apsida not just in the US but Globally too.

Since Matt’s relocation from New York in October 2024, he’s been a revelation for our Boston, MA office. Working closely with Jon, Matt has always put the company first, helped hire the team there, represented us superbly at numerous conferences and had his best billing year in Recruitment – a career that spans almost a decade.

Welcome Carlie Gonzalez and KG Mpahahlele to Team Apsida.

It’s been a strong week for our Contracts division, with both Carlie and KG joining us as Associate Consultants.

Carlie joins our Boston office, working alongside David to continue building out our US Contracts offering. She’ll be partnering with organisations across patient safety and clinical to connect them with high-quality contract talent.

KG joins our South Africa team, focused on sourcing top-tier talent and delivering flexible hiring solutions that work for both clients and candidates.
