Here's a little Monday morning helpful tip for you:
As part of your breast health routine, massage a little castor oil into the breast area before you shower. No need to wash it off with soap, just rinse with water and pat dry. Castor oil has cleansing properties and helps to prevent 'stagnation'. By keeping the circulation flowing well, it is said to help prevent cancer. You can buy castor oil in health food shops or online.

Full moon blessings! Did you know when the moon is full, Prana (vital life force energy) moves up to the head (and on the dark moon, it moves to the feet)? The effects of this may include:

🌕 clarity
🌕 sleeplessness
🌕 headaches
🌕 over thinking things

It can be helpful to keep a Moon Diary so you can keep track of what you notice around the different moon phases. Include in your diary things like: physical, mental and emotional states, menstrual phase, perceptions and desires. Then after a few months you can look back and see if any patterns are emerging. I’d love to hear about your findings!

Next month is the Winter Solstice Moon Yoga Gathering. This annual event is a full day retreat to really give you time to pause, nourish and restore. The Winter Solstice is the shortest day of the year, a time to turn within and rest, so it’s important to rest and honour this time when energy may be low (especially when there may be a busy Christmas ahead!)

Our Dark Moon Menstrual Hut is coinciding with the Tuesday Radical Anthropology talks to which everyone is invited!

⭐️Prof Francesca Declich ⭐️

who has done decades of fieldwork with matrilineal Zigula Bantu peoples across Somalia, Tanzania and Mozambique. She has some lovely film of their shared rituals and dances for calling the ancestors and healing. We will hear plenty on gender, female initiation and its role in maintaining matrilineal traditions.

Placing my crystals outside to re-energise with tonight’s supermoon. It’s the first supermoon of the year and also a harvest moon, so quite powerful.
I’ll be using these crystals as part of our centrepiece for the Samhain Half Day Retreat for women on Sunday 2nd November, 10-2 in Devoran.
This retreat is aimed at creating sacred space for women to gather, nurture, grow, laugh, cry, share, honour themselves and one another and to reside in the truth of their own being.
The session will include:
🍁 restorative yoga
🍁 meditation/ contemplation
🍁 time in nature
🍁 sharing circle
🍁 shared lunch
