On Sunday 16th, June. Father's Day I will be competing in the Diabetes UK, Cymru Wellness Walk in Cardiff.

It's with a huge, great honour that this month I have been chosen to be Diabetes UK volunteer of the month.

As many of you are aware, I have been living with this condition since I was diagnosed at 7yrs old.
Both my parents are Type 1 too. However, the past few years I have tried my best to help raise awareness for diabetes through a number of personal projects.

This month alone, me and my son are attempting 2 huge walks throughout the Rhondda area. If you would like to know more or how to get involved, please get in touch 💙

Lee works as a Special Effects Makeup Artist. He first got involved with Diabetes UK in 2019 when he used his skills to create a series of images representing depression, exhaustion and isolation, highlighting the psychological impact of living with diabetes.

This for my son, who has been competing in the Diabetes Step Challenge. This year, Devon is attempting for 500,000 steps.

Please try and support my son, any donation is greatly appreciated. No £1 is short and all will help for a great charity. We are attempting to finish this last month off with 2 big walking attempts.

Nearly half way through this challenge. And at 504,331 steps. Over the next couple of weeks, me and my boy will be out and about walking and trying to raise awareness for diabetes.
