North Wales Cancer Patient Forum

North Wales Cancer Patient Forum The Forum offers opportunities for people with a personal experience of cancer to be heard, and to help improve local cancer services.

We work in partnership with health professionals/organisations involved in cancer care. We are a voluntary group of people who have been affected by cancer. Our aim is to enable the views and experiences of cancer patients, family and friends to be heard and used to improve the quality of cancer care in North Wales. We do this by working in a positive partnership with local health care teams and other voluntary organisations.

Happy Retirement Pat

Last week the North Wales Cancer Patient Forum bid a fond but sad farewell to Pat Evans who has been the Forum's facilitator for many years. I'm not sure how long - she's always been there.

Pat has supported and led the 3 forum locality groups, in East, Central and West areas, the Forum website committee and communication committee plus the Strategic group.

Based at Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board Pat has worked tirelessly to support cancer patients welfare by ensuring the views of people with a personal experience of cancer are listened to, thereby helping to ensure local services provide the quality of cancer care that people really want and need.

Thank you Pat - we will all miss you so much.
