Hi loves 🌼
I find this Rumi quote deeply resonant.
Our broken parts are where our strength is born.🧎♀️➡️
🌺 Our wounds are not just things to be healed, but are actually the very openings through which spiritual growth + enlightenment can begin. They are our greatest teachings.
🌸 To let “the Light” (or energy) in, you must have a break in your ego’s armor. A physical or emotional wounding cracks open your defenses, allowing a higher consciousness to pe*****te. More light to shine.
I’ve been reflecting back over a recent period of grief, from the passing of a dear friend. I can see the grief in me, the loss is present on the surface. The wounding felt so deep, it took me a little longer to let my light shine back through again.✨
It’s in these moments where you find the depths of your being. When you have to do the school run fighting back tears, praying no one asks “are you ok” because you’ll cry. Them asking, you crying, hugs received which is what you really needed anyway. 💞
The lived human experience asks us to feel + embody. Yes we may ascend back or “wake up from this stimulation”, but this as real as that part of us.
This is our humanity. You cannot skip the lessons, you cannot “meditate your consciousness above the real lived experience”, for then you have lost your humanity. The whole reason you incarnated here to begin with.🧍🏻♀️🧍🏼♂️
Namaste, xo
