My name is Kat. I love all things Yoga, Ayurveda and Sound Therapy. May you be Happy. May you be Healthy.

I hold space for weekly Yin Yoga classes in Ringwood. The classes are inspired by the wisdom of Yoga Philosophy and Ayurveda principles and practises. I lead monthly sound baths in Ringwood and can offer 1-2-1 sound therapy massage using Tibetan Bowls, Gong, Crystal Bowls, Koshi Chimes and other supportive sound instruments. I can also support women in their health and wellbeing, being able to offer guidance from the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda through diet and lifestyle practices. As we flow towards the end of autumn our Yin and Sound offerings this week will connect with the invitation to slow down and take time for deeper rest and rejuvenation.

Yin will add a more restorative element using props and longer holds so that we can feel fully supported to rest and let go of tension.

Sunday Sound will create a space to release tension and settle into a space of quiet in the mind.

As we rest, breathe, and open to the soothing frequencies of sound, we will naturally restore and rejuvenate the cells of body.

This week, our nourishing practice, connects our body, mind, and spirit with the essence of the water element πŸŒŠπŸ’§.

Through meditation, postures and sacred sound, we'll cultivate fluidity, receptivity, and inner wisdom.

A simple beautiful practise to invite in the healing essence of nature through water is to simply breathe in the essence of the ocean, the flow of the river, a cleansing waterfall and if not in person, imagine this in your minds eye.

We will welcome in the wisdom of water and allow its healing energy to flow through us.

In many eastern traditions, the lungs are connected to the Autumn, and as we navigate this time of year, we'll tune into this connection to uncover and explore deep-seated emotions.

We'll focus on practices that help us tune in to our bodies and surroundings, promoting a sense of regulation and calm.

By being present in the moment, we can access the 'rest and digest' state, allowing our bodies to heal and recharge.

What are you reading right now, or whats a book thats been a momentous one for you? One for me was, The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle.

This week I decided to re-read the Yoga Sutras, it's one of those books you could read a thousand times that seems to gift you with something that you most need guidance with.

Ahimsa, the first Limb of The Eight Limbs of Yoga, shared in the Yoga Sutras. It's the principle of non harming, compassion and kindness. Ahimsa guides us to be mindful of one's own thoughts, words, and actions to avoid harm to oneself, others and the planet.

What if we all embodied this principle?
