What a truly lovely couple of days we’ve enjoyed here at Lake View, celebrating all things love.

Yesterday, we transformed our Tea Room into a beautiful setting for a special Valentine’s meal, shared by our residents and their loved ones. It was wonderful to see so many smiles around the table.

Today, the celebrations continued as we handed out sweet Valentine’s treats, all while being serenaded by our fantastic singer, Le’arna!

Today we say a fond farewell to our incredible General Manager Becky.

Her leadership was defined not only by results, but by the kindness, grace, and steady encouragement she brought to our team every single day. She had a unique way of lifting morale-whether through a thoughtful conversation, a word of recognition, or simply the calm confidence she carried into every challenge.

Because of her, our workplace felt stronger, more connected, and more inspired and her impact goes far beyond titles or accomplishments; it lives in the culture she helped build and the people she empowered along the way.

She will be deeply missed, but her influence will continue to guide us. We are so grateful for the time we shared and wish her nothing but continued success and happiness in her next chapter.

This morning at Lake View, some of our lovely ladies had a wonderful time chatting away whilst making a start on knitting squares for a blanket that they’d like to make in our ’Knit & Natter‘ session ☺️

🇮🇳 Namaste! 🇮🇳
Having been asked last month which country they’d like to choose for our themed day this month, our residents decided on India.
We started our day with some Indian themed movement to music which had everybody giggling and dancing trying to keep up with the movements 🤭 followed by a little Henna tattooing.
Then for lunch, a fabulous Indian Cuisine cooked by our wonderful Chef Dan.
After their lovely lunch, we opted for a film, and in keeping with the Indian theme, we decided on watching Slumdog Millionaire 😊
A good day well spent!😊
