💚Our Care Professional, Minu has received a glowing feedback from one of our clients in Chepstow. Minu is 'perfect' as a matched carer and does everything so well! 👏
💚 Our Care Professional, Paige has been a brilliant companion and trusted carer for a client for personal care.
💚 Jules & Jayani, two of our Care Professionals in Newport have been highly praised by a client for their continued companionship and level of care. The client went on to explain how she 'laughs a lot' and 'enjoys their conversation' when they both visit. 👏

🌍 Today is World Pneumonia Day

Raising awareness about one of the leading causes of illness among older adults.

Did you know that pneumonia can often be prevented with good nutrition, vaccines, and early medical support?

For older people — especially those with existing health conditions — recognising the early signs can be life-saving.

Call NHS 111 should you suspect you have pneumonia symptoms. The GP can diagnose and treat pneumonia with a course of antibiotics. Most people get better in 2 to 4 weeks.

If symptoms become worse/life threatening, call 999. The operator you speak to at 999 will give you advice about what to do.

You're giving everything to others; supporting elderly parents everyday whilst parenting children through their growing years.

Today, we pause to remember.
At 11am, the nation will fall silent for two minutes, a moment to honour generations of brave men and women; our dearest neighbours and loved ones, who sacrificed everything so that we could live in freedom.

The National Service of Remembrance, held each year on the closest Sunday to 11th November, honours all those who have served and sacrificed in wars and conflicts since the First World War.

The two-minute silence at 11am marks the exact time the guns fell silent on the Western Front in 1918; the moment the First World War ended. It’s a time for reflection, gratitude, and unity across generations, remembering those who fought for peace and those who continue to serve today.

We will remember them.

Every year on the 5th of November, we light up the skies to remember the infamous Guy Fawkes' Gunpowder Plot of 1605. It’s a British tradition, but for many older people, especially those living with dementia, fireworks night can be confusing, frightening, or distressing. 💭💔

As we enjoy the displays, let’s also think of our elderly loved ones, neighbours, and clients who may need a little extra comfort tonight. A quiet check-in, a reassuring chat, or simply closing the curtains and putting on some gentle music can make all the difference. 💜
