Have you heard the term 'coercive control' but not quite sure what it means or what it looks like? As part of the 16 Days against Gender-based Violence, we are hosting a webinar on the topic of coercive control where we will explore this particular form of domestic violence.

Our online webinar takes place on 28 November 2025 from 12pm-1pm.

Sheffield Women's Aid, along with a coalition of over 72 Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) organisations is deeply concerned about the growing rise in hate incidents and racially aggravated attacks targeting Black, minority and migrant women.

We are calling for an urgent, coordinated and multi-agency response to strengthen safety for women and girls, improve collaboration between services and ensure justice for all.

All of us at Sheffield Women’s Collective are horrified by the attack of Jewish worshippers on the holy day of Yom Kippur. A day that should have been full of faith, looking towards the new year instead bringing fear and loss. Our hearts go out to the families of the victims and the Jewish community as a whole.

No community should be in fear due to their religion. We must stand together to condemn hatred of any kind and condemn all acts of violence as simply unacceptable.
