Pressed & Blessed Open Day
Saturday 28th March
10am to 2pm
Royston Old School Hall, Market Square

This isn’t just a juice stall.

It’s a conversation about health.

Over the past few years we have both transformed our health in very different ways.

Twenty years of chronic bowel illness, inflammation and medication cycles led Nadia to rebuild her health through nutrition, cold pressed juice, herbal support and environmental change.

Thirty years of quick fix dieting and low energy led Ronnie to completely rethink weight loss and metabolic health through nourishment, not restriction.

At our Open Day you can:

Sample our cold pressed juices and signature shots
Hear short talks on gut health and inflammation
Learn how blood sugar, stress and digestion shape heart health
Watch live juice demos
Access soft launch pricing
Ask questions about your own health journey

Whether you are curious about improving digestion, energy, weight balance or simply want to understand what Pressed & Blessed is all about, you are welcome.

No pressure.
No fads.
Just real conversation about supporting the body properly.

If you are local, come and say hello.
Bring a friend.
Pop in for ten minutes or stay for the talks.

Yesterday Ronnie and I attended our first Wealth and Women’s Wellness networking event in Letchworth, hosted beautifully by Rumyana Nyathi

And what a day it was.

There is something powerful about sitting in a room full of women who are building businesses from purpose rather than pressure.
Different modalities, different backgrounds, different ambitions, but one shared intention. Healing.
Empowerment.
Impact.

We met yoga teachers working in schools, women holding space through voice activation and confidence work, practitioners of Reiki and Akashic records, retreat leaders, mindfulness facilitators. A rich mix of skill sets and lived experience.

What struck us most was the reception we received. The curiosity. The conversations. The genuine interest in what Pressed and Blessed stands for.

We heard more than once that our offering feels different.
Not just juice.
Not just wellness.
But a deeper integration of nourishment, ritual and root cause health.

That feedback mattered.

By the end of the day our diaries were filling with one to ones.
New collaborations forming.
Retreat conversations opening.
Ideas expanding.

This morning I woke up energised. Motivated. Grounded in the knowing that we are finding our people here.

Pressed and Blessed was never meant to be just a product. It is a living extension of how we choose to live.
Intentional.
Regulated.
Plant led.
Community focused.

And yesterday reminded us that there are many women walking this path.

We are excited for what is building. 💪💚

Ginger and turmeric are not trends.
They are tools.

When used in concentrated form, they stimulate circulation, support bile flow, reduce inflammatory signalling and wake up digestive fire.

But pairing changes purpose.

Ginger + Turmeric + Lemon
Sharper. Cleansing. Liver focused.
Supports detox pathways and digestive reset.

Ginger + Turmeric + Orange
Gentler. Immune supportive.
Balances the heat of ginger with vitamin C rich support and adrenal nourishment.

Ginger + Turmeric + Pineapple
Anti inflammatory focus.
Bromelain in pineapple works synergistically with turmeric to support tissue repair and joint health.

Same base.
Different intention.

This is why we do not create random juice.
We create purposeful blends.

There is something special about personally delivering juices around town.

Our first customer was .at.la.bella.vita
And Mary, from Bella Vita.

Eighteen Gut Kick Shots heading into busy hands this week.

I love walking into local businesses, dropping off bottles, having a proper chat, browsing their shelves… and somehow we always end up talking about our guts.

Bloating. Stress. Coffee habits. Hormones. Energy dips.

It is never just about juice.

It is about how we are actually feeling.

Pressed and Blessed was never meant to be an online faceless brand.
It was built for this.
Real conversations.
Real people.
Real bodies navigating modern life.

Supporting Royston one gut at a time.

If you are a local business and want weekly shot deliveries, send me a message.

Let’s talk about your gut…

26/02/2026

While I prep ginger and turmeric in batches, let me tell you why Pressed & Blessed exists.

This is not a trend.
It’s not a cleanse culture brand.
It’s not quick fix wellness.

It was built from lived experience.

Chronic illness.
Inflammation.
Weight battles.
Energy crashes.
Life change.

We stripped it back.
Real ingredients.
Cold pressed.
Intentional blends.
Education alongside the juice.

We support people who know something isn’t right.
People who are tired of guessing.
People who want to understand their body, not fight it.

If that’s you, come and meet us.

There was a time when neither of us trusted our bodies.

Ronnie spent over thirty years cycling through quick fix weight loss plans.

Start Monday.
Cut everything.
Restrict.
Lose a little.
Crash.
Repeat.

Low energy.
Low confidence.
Endless starting again.

I spent twenty years battling a chronic bowel condition.

Hospital corridors.
Medication cycles.
Sixteen years under the influence of opioids.
Managing symptoms but never truly stabilising.

Two very different journeys.

One common realisation.

The body responds when you reduce inflammatory load and increase nourishment.

Juice was not a trend for us.

It was not aesthetic.
It was not a crash plan.
It was not about shrinking.

It was about supporting the liver.
Hydrating properly.
Reducing digestive strain.
Flooding the system with micronutrients.
Creating space for the body to regulate.

At our Open Day we are speaking openly about both journeys.

Ronnie will share the reality of thirty years of dieting culture and what finally shifted.

I will speak about gut health, inflammation, nervous system load and how I began stripping disease back layer by layer through juice, herbal teas and environmental correction.

This is not a miracle story.

It is a real one.

If you have struggled with weight cycles.
Low energy.
Chronic inflammation.
Digestive issues.
Or simply know something feels off.

Come and listen.

Taste the blends.
Ask the questions.
Have the conversation.

Just honest health.

24/02/2026

There was a time when I thought health was something you chased.

Another supplement.
Another protocol.
Another restriction.

What I learned instead was this.

The body responds to load.
And when you reduce that load properly, it begins to regulate.

Pressed & Blessed was built from that understanding.

Not from trends.
Not from aesthetics.
From lived experience.

If you have followed my journey, you will know this did not begin as a business idea.
It began in hospital corridors.
In chronic inflammation.
In years of trying to fix something that was never broken.

It needed structure.
It needed nourishment.
It needed correction.

Most people treat bloating as a food problem.

Very often, it is a stress problem.

Digestion is a parasympathetic process.
That means it requires safety.

When cortisol rises, the body shifts resources away from digestion and towards survival.

Blood flow moves to muscles.
Stomach acid production reduces.
Gut motility becomes irregular.
The lining of the gut becomes more vulnerable.

This is not dysfunction.
It is adaptation.

Low stomach acid means protein is not broken down properly.
Poor breakdown increases fermentation.
Fermentation increases gas and pressure.
Pressure feels like bloating.

You can remove dairy.
You can remove gluten.
You can take enzymes.

But you cannot supplement your way out of chronic stress.

If the nervous system is living in fight or flight, digestion will always be compromised.

Inside Pressed and Blessed, we assess stress load, inflammatory load and blood sugar stability before we restrict anything.

Because the goal is not elimination.

It is restoring the conditions required for digestion to function properly.

If this sounds like you, book your free 15 minute clarity call.

Let’s reduce the load properly.

What Is Actually Happening to Our Health

Let’s step away from trends for a moment and look at the numbers.

According to the World Health Organization, non communicable diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, cancer and chronic respiratory conditions now account for around 74 percent of global deaths.

That is not infection.
That is lifestyle linked chronic illness.

In the UK, the Office for National Statistics reports that obesity rates have more than doubled since the 1990s.

Type 2 diabetes has risen significantly in the last thirty years.
Autoimmune conditions are increasing.
Digestive disorders are increasingly common.

Now look at food.

Research published in the BMJ has shown that ultra processed foods can account for over 50 percent of calorie intake in some Western populations.

Ultra processed means.

Refined sugars
Industrial seed oils
Emulsifiers
Preservatives
Artificial flavourings
Stabilisers

These products are engineered for shelf life and hyper palatability, not long term health.

Then look at environmental load.

Studies have detected microplastics in human blood, lung tissue and even placental tissue.
Endocrine disrupting chemicals are present in plastics, packaging, cosmetics and cleaning products.
Artificial light exposure has increased dramatically, impacting circadian rhythm and hormone regulation.

Meanwhile screen time has risen, sleep duration has reduced, and physical movement has declined compared to previous generations.

This is not moral.
It is mechanical.

The body adapts to its inputs.

If the inputs are.

High stress
Low fibre
High additive load
Low sunlight
Constant stimulation

The outputs will reflect that.

Inflammation
Insulin resistance
Hormonal disruption
Gut permeability
Nervous system dysregulation

Health is not collapsing randomly.

It is responding to environment.

And that means something important.

If environment shapes health
then small environmental corrections matter.

Whole foods over engineered foods.
Hydration over stimulants.
Natural light over late night scrolling.
Real rest over constant output.
Ingredient awareness over convenience culture.

Pressed & Blessed is not a miracle solution.

It is one correction inside a noisy system.

Fresh plant compounds.
Phytonutrients.
Fibre support.
Hydration.
Nervous system awareness.

Not extreme.

Intentional.

Because when the environment becomes more complex,
health requires more consciousness.

21/02/2026

Let’s talk about health.

Not green juice aesthetics.
Not protein trends.
Not biohacks.

Actual health.

We are living in a time where the human body is navigating things it was never designed for.

Ultra processed food as standard.
Artificial light at all hours.
Sedentary work.
Chronic stress.
Chemical load in water, soil and packaging.
Constant nervous system stimulation through screens.

This is not dramatic.
It is observable.

Walk through any supermarket.
Look at ingredient labels.
Look at how long food lasts now.
Look at the rate of chronic illness compared to fifty years ago.

The body is not failing.

The environment is louder than it has ever been.

Your liver is processing more than it used to.
Your gut is navigating more additives.
Your nervous system rarely gets silence.
Your hormones are responding to constant input.

And then we ask why we are tired.
Why inflammation is common.
Why digestion feels off.
Why anxiety is baseline.

Health is not just about what you eat.

It is about what you are exposed to.
What you absorb.
What you scroll.
What you breathe.
What you suppress.

We do not need panic.
We need awareness.

Because once you see it,
you can make different choices.

Small batch food.
Real plants.
Natural light.
Proper rest.
Nervous system regulation.
Ingredient literacy.

Health is not extreme.
It is foundational.

And most people are not broken.

They are overloaded.

Pressed & Blessed exists because the modern environment requires intentional support.

Not as a trend.

As infrastructure.
