Inner Peace Hatha Yoga I teach Hatha Yoga for adults in and around Rugby, Warwickshire. I've been teaching Hatha Yoga for over 20 years. I enjoy teaching a variety of levels.

I teach adults in Rugby, Warwickshire as well as worldwide via online teaching. My experience includes 3 years of teaching Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs (YHLB) - gentle, effective, evidenced-based 12 week courses for people with chronic or recurring back pain and 8 years of Birthlight pregnancy yoga.

Yoga builds strength, improves flexibility, and supports healthy movement. Each posture works with breath to release stiffness, reduce blood pressure, and restore balance. The more you move, the more your body learns how to align itself with ease.

Mindful breathing clears thoughts and sharpens focus. You gain self-acceptance and confidence as your awareness grows. Every inhale invites calm, every exhale releases what you no longer need.

Stay consistent with your practice. Your mind follows where your body leads. When you breathe, move, and stay present, happiness follows naturally. 🧘‍♀️✨

The Low Lunge (Anjeneyasana) is a powerful yoga pose that stretches the hips, thighs, and groin, while also strengthening the legs and lower back. By reaching your arms up and lengthening your spine, you create space in the body and open the chest, allowing you to breathe more deeply and fully. This pose encourages balance, flexibility, and alignment, making it an essential part of any practice.

As you move into the pose, focus on keeping your hips square and pressing down through your back heel to maintain stability. Lift your sternum towards your chin and engage your core to avoid overextending your lower back. This will create a safe and effective stretch while preventing strain. With practice, you’ll build both physical and mental resilience, enhancing your ability to stay grounded.

Low Lunge is also a great way to improve circulation and mobility in the hip flexors. For those who spend long hours sitting, this pose can counteract the effects of tight hips and improve posture. The mindful breathing that accompanies each movement allows you to deepen your stretch and release tension from both the body and mind. 🌸🧘‍♀️
