Inner Peace Hatha Yoga I teach Hatha Yoga for adults in and around Rugby, Warwickshire. I've been teaching Hatha Yoga for over 20 years. I enjoy teaching a variety of levels.

I teach adults in Rugby, Warwickshire as well as worldwide via online teaching. My experience includes 3 years of teaching Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs (YHLB) - gentle, effective, evidenced-based 12 week courses for people with chronic or recurring back pain and 8 years of Birthlight pregnancy yoga.

Stress is a silent enemy that sneaks into our lives without us even realizing its full impact. While we often associate stress with feelings of mental overload or anxiety, the physical effects are just as profound. Stress can cause heart palpitations, headaches, nausea, and even acid reflux. It can affect your sleep patterns, making it harder to rest, and can lead to an overall sense of discomfort that affects every aspect of your day.

As your body reacts to stress, the fight-or-flight response gets activated. Over time, constant exposure to stress can weaken your immune system, increase blood pressure, and even result in chronic conditions. Recognizing the toll stress takes on your body is the first step in managing it. Being kind to yourself means acknowledging when you need to rest, step back, and rejuvenate.

Taking time to care for your mental and physical health isn't selfish—it's necessary. Whether it's through yoga, deep breathing, or simply taking a break, stress relief is essential. Make self-care a priority and give yourself the grace to rest when needed. 🌿💆‍♀️
