Hello everyone!
My name is Svitlana, and I am a massage therapist and kinesiotherapist. I work with people every day — from morning till evening. Sometimes, even on Sundays, I get calls from people who can’t get out of bed because of severe pain. And I can’t say no — I get up and help, because I see that someone truly needs it.
But I want to address you, dear people:
please, don’t wait too long when you feel pain.
If your leg is pulling, your back or arm hurts — don’t wait one, two, or three weeks.
Go as soon as possible to a specialist — a massage therapist, physiotherapist, or kinesiotherapist.
Don’t wait until the pain turns into something serious!
Let me share a case from yesterday.
A man came to me from Coventry. He had been lying in bed for three weeks, unable to stand up because of terrible pain.
He could hardly walk 20 meters from his car to my office.
I worked with him for four hours. The man was in tears, under huge physical and emotional stress.
And you know what he had been doing all that time?
Following a doctor’s advice, he was applying cold for hours instead of just a few minutes!
As a result, he developed a strong inflammatory reaction, his muscles became extremely tight, and his legs couldn’t straighten more than 45 degrees… practically disabled. 💔
Never apply cold for more than 5 minutes!
After cold — always use warmth.
Alternate: cold → warm → rest.
Do not keep cold packs on your back, muscles, or joints for long periods — it’s strictly contraindicated and can make things much worse.
Please, take care of yourself.
Don’t wait, don’t suffer, don’t think it will “go away on its own.”
Reach out for help as soon as possible — there are people who can and want to help you.
It truly breaks my heart to see people suffer like this.
Don’t let your condition go so far that you lose your mobility.
