This is something we wholeheartedly support and have mentioned on all of our first aid courses, No one should ever have their darkest, most vulnerable moment turned into a spectacle for others to watch. The idea that people stop to film or photograph someone in distress is not only deeply deplorable, it’s inhumane.
And think of the families. Imagine discovering that the worst moment of your loved one’s life has been captured and shared for strangers to view. No family should ever have to endure that kind of pain.
This is why change is needed. The law must protect people’s dignity when they cannot protect it themselves.
