The Delamere Centre will close for Christmas from Tuesday, 23 December. We will be back open on Monday, 5 January. If you need any help or support whilst our office is closed please contact the Macmillan support line, you can call them on 0808 808 00 00 or you can use their online chat option on the Macmillan website to speak to a information and support advisor or cancer information nurse specialist. 7 days a week, 8am to 8pm.

Thank you so much to our wonderful Connect Ladies group for hosting an amazing coffee morning last Wednesday, and a huge thank you to everyone who contributed and attended to support the Delamere Centre.

Thanks to your kindness and generosity, you raised a fantastic £1,105, which will go a long way in supporting our services here.

We can’t thank you all enough.

Did someone say Christmas Coffee Morning?

Join us on Wednesday 3 December, 11am – 2pm for a festive treat!
Our wonderful Connect, Cake and Coffee support group are hosting a Christmas Coffee Morning on our behalf and would love to invite you along to help raise some funds and awareness of our Centre.

Enjoy a mince pie or a slice of cake with a warm drink to kick off the festive season with us. There will be a raffle and, of course, a tombola too!

We would like to say a huge thank you to not only our amazing Head & Neck cancer nurse specialist Tracey Roberts but also to Dave and the team over at Direct taxis, Tracey had a patient who was struggling to get to an appointment so she contacted Direct Taxis who kindly took this patient to and from her appointment free of charge, this shows the care that our nurses show on a daily basis and the support we have from the local community you are both truly amazing, thank you.

April is Bowel cancer awareness month!
The bowel is part of the digestive system. It is made up of the small bowel and the large bowel. The large bowel is made up of the colon and re**um. Cancer that affects the large bowel is typically called bowel cancer. You may also hear it being called colorectal cancer. This means cancer in the colon or re**um.
