I like to keep things simple and science based meaning the best results...FOREVER! Pretty sure we have ALL struggled with yo-yo dieting, joining the latest fad, eating and/or drinking to suit our emotions and then training or exercising our arses off to try and "burn" whatever we can off. Maybe we have just sat there feeling pretty disgusted in ourselves. Either way, there is so much misleading crap on the internet it can be so overwhelming whether it is for someone who understands nutrition and exercise or someone who is brand new and looking to start breaking out of sh*tty habits. I am here to throw out all the garbage, the myths, the fads, the stuff I'm sure people just made up and put the SCIENCE proven facts into one place so you can REALLY achieve ultimate GREATNESS! And let's put this out there... you CAN eat more than 1200kcals, you CAN eat after 6pm, you CAN eat a doughnut if you want, you CAN drink wine, lifting weight does NOT turn you into a man or a body builder or the incredible hulk. If you are looking to drop 15lb this month, this is not the right place (P.S. it will be water weight ;) )
A wee bit about me...
Over 50% of my life I've been bulimic. Yep, I am still in therapy and still in recovery (always will be!), with that, also a sugar addict (no more, but again something that will always linger like any addiction) - so I 10000000% get the emotional eating, get how hard it is and how it can turn any progress (fitness, body composition or any aspect of life) into sh*t. Single parent - yep only have the 1 (she's 3) but dammnnnn she takes up 99% of my life so I get time is incredibly limited. I am the QUEEN of excuses when sh*t gets hard - except NOW, when they start to make an appearance, I can tell them to do one so things get done! I've been doing this for nearly 7 years, qualifications in personal training, level 5 nutritionist, pregnancy and postnatal specialist exercise and nutrition training, hormone health and nutrition, sports nutrition and strength and conditioning training too. BUT all these bits of paper, don't cut it when it comes to life experiences. So, if you are still here reading this...I got you. We keep it simple, cut out the middle man, and get your body, confidence and nutrition back to where it should be. Shelley - Body Transformation Coach
