It captures exactly what these sessions are about… building real strength and stability while feeling more connected to your body and your breath.

Many of you might not know that I’m a qualified personal trainer and that’s where all of this began. I offer a small number of 1:1 sessions alongside my classes for those who want something more personal.

Mindful Movement runs every Friday at 1:30pm.

It’s easy to feel like being a good parent means doing more.

More organising, more thinking ahead, more holding everything together.

But the moments that seem small… the ones where nothing much is happening… often matter more than we realise.

Standing outside, walking together, sitting quietly without rushing off to the next thing.

That’s where presence lives.

Not in doing everything for them, but in being there with them.

And over time, that’s what they begin to understand… not just what you do for them, but how it feels to be calm, grounded and present 🌿✨

I don’t share things like this often…

but lately I’ve felt stuck

low energy
low motivation
questioning myself

and maybe you’ve felt that too

it’s easy to think something’s gone wrong
that you should be doing more

but sometimes your system just needs space

to slow down
to breathe
to step outside and feel something real again

you’re not behind
you’re not broken

this might just be a moment to rest and reset

and that’s okay x

A gentle forest bathing experience where towering trees and soft green undergrowth create space to slow right down.

We’ll move mindfully through the landscape, opening the senses to what’s already here. Guided headphone meditations will deepen your connection to the land, and gentle Qi Gong beneath the trees will awaken the body and breath.

Nothing complicated, nothing to achieve, just simple practices, stillness, and space to let go.

A chance to breathe fully and remember the rhythm of nature again.

Not every low or heavy state needs calming… sometimes it needs a bit of activation…

If I’m feeling overwhelmed then slowing things down helps
But if I’m stuck, low energy, no motivation… doing nothing just keeps me there

This morning I went out for a run. No music, no timer and no fancy gear… just fresh air and movement

My mind is still busy when I’m running
But the thoughts that aren’t helpful seem to get left behind

It wasn’t about fitness or performance
It was about shifting something mentally

These days that’s what it means for me
Taking care of my mind and staying connected to my body

Sometimes that’s all it takes to feel a little more like myself again

Some mornings the mind is already moving before the day has even begun…It jumps straight into everything that needs doin...

Before you’ve even had a chance to arrive in the day, you’re already carrying pressure.

Really excited to be part of something new this spring.

Bear & Bird will be at .festival in the New Forest this May, holding a space alongside daily Qi Gong sessions to help you slow down, drop in and reconnect.

It’s a full weekend of movement, music, breathwork, workshops, good food, and proper human connection… all set in nature, with a focus on feeling rather than performing.

If you’ve been craving a reset, a bit of space, or just a different kind of weekend, this feels like a good one.
