Men Only isn’t just about what happens inside Rodger & Steve’s Place. The real impact shows up when the connections made here carry on into everyday life.

This photo was taken today at a local restaurant. These are men who first met through our sessions and found a bit of common ground, a bit of company, and the confidence to keep in touch outside our doors. Now they meet up for lunch, look out for each other, and give some support to local businesses at the same time.

This picture is what community looks like for us. Simple, steady moments where people feel comfortable enough to stay connected in their own way and in their own time.

These men (And Sasha!) embody all of our aims and our goals here. Kindness, gentle support and encouragement looks like this, and apparently, lunch was great too, thanks to The Alamo Bar & Grill for hosting our guys!

🧡Emergency Help Needed🧡

Men Only are reaching out for some urgent support tonight. We’re looking to help a gentleman who is currently sleeping rough, and we’re hoping someone may have a tent and sleeping bag they’d be happy to donate. With this cold and wet weather we don’t want to see him spend another night on the street without shelter.

We are so grateful for all the support we’ve received in the past — it reminds us what community spirit really means.

🧡 Great News! We’re Expanding Out Hours Again! 🧡

Over the past few weeks, we had to reduce our opening hours to three days a week due to limited funding. It wasn’t an easy decision, but your understanding and support through that time meant the world to us. ❤️

We’re thrilled to share some good news - thanks to continued community support and recent improvements in our funding, as of next week (10.11.25), we’ll be back to being open five days a week! 🎉

As you know we like to do all we can to support those who use our service.

Right now we have a lady who is in need of clothes for the winter. If anyone has any ladies tops, trousers, jeans and jumpers in a size 12 that they can donate to us, we would be ever so grateful.

If you can drop off to our unit in Ryde or contact us via messenger and we can arrange to have them collected.
