We recently helped celebrate a vey special milestone for one of our clients, Eric, and his wonderful wife, Julie, marked an incredible 54 years of marriage. 💍💚🤍

To mark the occasion, our team delivered flowers and a card on behalf of everyone at Home Instead Salford.

It’s Thursday… which means we're at Cuppa n Company ☕💚🤍

Every week, our sessions are filled with warmth, conversation and that lovely friendly atmosphere everyone looks forward to.

Today, we’re getting into the Christmas spirit and wrapping presents for our Santa to a Senior campaign, helping to spread a little joy to older adults in our community who may be spending Christmas alone. 🎄🎁

We’re pleased to share the final confirmed total from our Gala Dinner in October.

After finalising all expenses, there was a slight mis-calculation in the original figure, and the amount donated to Dementia UK is an incredible £6,636.96. 🩵

We’ve had a wonderful thank you letter from Dementia UK who have also shared an example of how fundraising is already making a difference.

They told us about Jo, whose husband John lives with dementia.

When Jo felt overwhelmed navigating his care, Admiral Nurse Liz stepped in with expert guidance, compassion and practical support.

Jo described Liz’s involvement as a game-changer, helping their family feel understood and supported during an extremely difficult time.

Stories like this show just how far your generosity reaches, supporting specialist Admiral Nurses to be there for families when they need it most.

I have worked for Home Instead for over a year now and it doesn’t actually feel like you’re going to work, more like you’re visiting a family friend. Our clients are amazing and appreciate our support enabling them to continue to live in their own homes. I personally get so much job satisfaction and work alongside an amazing team of people. All the care professionals are brilliant and we have a fabulous team in the office always supporting both the clients and us.
I would highly recommend Home Instead.

🎅 Santa to a Senior is back for 2025! 💚🤍

This Christmas, can you help us spread a little love and festive cheer to isolated and lonely older people in our community?

We've started collecting gifts for elderly people in Salford who unfortunately don't get many visitors, people who spend Christmas alone and perhaps haven't received a present in years!

Your support can help us make even a small difference this Christmas. 🎁 🎄

How you can help:

We're looking for new, unused gifts like scarves, gloves, toiletries, candles, and biscuits. 🧤🕯️🍪

If you're a keen knitter or crocheter, handmade blankets and twiddle muffs would be wonderful donations! 🧶

Every single gift helps bring a smile to someone's face.

It doesn't feel like work,its so rewarding to go out everyday and meet the nicest people
Bringing joy to them and knowing you've made a difference to their day is a feeling on another level

Today, we pause to remember. ❤️🌹

Over the past few weeks, our Cuppa n Company group at Home Instead Salford have been making handcrafted poppies together.

We were honoured to have Teresa from WI collect the poppies, which are now part of the beautiful poppy waterfall display at Eccles Gateway.

Thank you to every member of our Cuppa n Company group whose kindness, time and care has contributed to remembering those who served and those we have lost.

Today, we remember their bravery
We remember their sacrifice
