We recently gathered at the church in East Knoyle with the local village and current residents of Clouds House to honour freedom, change, and possibility through a moving carol service.
As this season so often does, it brought us back to the why.. hearing graduates speak of families reunited, of loved ones returned from the grip of addiction. Quiet miracles, spoken beautifully.
In true and generous spirit, previous Chair of trustees David Bernstein shared his lived experience, seamlessly bridging recovery and local community, reminding us that sobriety is not only possible, but can be stunningly abundant.
Tradition held its place too. Actor David Charkham performed Christmas poetry, lovely mince pies, festive conversation, and the presence of longstanding figures such as Michael Rawlinson.. living reminders of the deep history Clouds House carries, and the many lives it has helped shape in its 40 years.
It was heartening to see our esteemed CEO, MIKE TRACE, and our woman at the helm, Director of Recovery Julie Muir, present in full support and spirit. ✨️🙏
