On Tuesday I was at the Marmot Place meeting with East Suffolk Council in Lowestoft. There will be 3 meetings across east Suffolk and this was the 2nd with the 3rd in saxmundham on the 26th March. There was some great discussions from the community on how to make opportunities fairer and more equal for everyone across east Suffolk. Many familiar and new faces at the event.

On Monday it was the St Elizabeth Hospice Public Health Compassionate Community Celebration Event at Kesgrave Community & Conference Centre. I was joined by Seva from The Pear Tree Fund & Karen from Halesworth Volunteers
It was amazing to hear of all the initiatives and things that have been happening, plus what future plans will be there to support those end of life and grieving family and friends. Lovely to see familiar faces at the event too. Kesgrave Community and Conference Centre St Elizabeth Hospice

Last week Juliette and I joined Mark Jepson for Community Hour on Suffolk Sound It was great to head back to the studio in Felixstowe for chats on all things community and care in Suffolk, thanks for having us back.

Been lovely to visit a couple of Rural Coffee Caravan recently, thank you to Gary for letting me pop along. I hadn’t been to either Kenton or Mickfield before so great to speak to those living in these lovely rural communities. So important to support those in rural communities and learn the positives and negatives of their experiences at present.

Last week it was great to be at East Coast College for the Well Minds Event. Lovely to see lots of people attending. Really enjoyed the workshops and having some interesting conversations. Well done to all that organised.

Last week it was lovely to be asked back by Sarah from the Recovery College, to come speak to those with memory concerns and talk all things dementia friendly in the Waveney community. I was joined at Lowestoft library by the lovey people from the Seagull Theatre who also shared all that they do too. Was great to support so many on the day. Yesterday it was Great to be invited to the book launch of Patching The Puncture, the follow up to Slow Puncture, Peter Berry Living with Alzheimers Deb Bunt
Lovely to hear the extracts from Rossana Miles too. Also great to hear from Jenny Riddell-Carpenter MP too.

On Monday I had the pleasure of attending the Bedfield and Monk Soham Community Hub for the Care Cafe, which is the first and third Monday every month. Thank you to Jenny and all the volunteers for making me feel so welcome. Very well attended and a much needed community group. Bedfield and Monk Soham Community Club
