What’s the best time of day to workout?

And guess what?

Both are winning 🥇 Both are doing what works for them.

One of the biggest myths in fitness is that there’s a ‘perfect’ time of day to train.

There isn’t.

There’s only the time that fits your real life, your energy, your routine and your responsibilities.

For some women, mornings feel calm and focused.

For others, evenings feel grounded and stress relieving.

And for many, it changes week to week, and that’s ok too.

The magic isn’t in the clock.

The magic is in showing up in a way that’s sustainable for you.

So whether you’re a sunrise lifter like Bridget, or an after work strength queen like Sharon, remember:

⭐️⭐️There is no one size fits all. There’s only what fits YOU.

Most people think that press ups are an all or nothing exercise.

They’re not.

This is exactly how we build strength - progression.

Start with a wall press up

Move to a box press up

Gradually into a 3/4 press up

Until one day you’re doing full press ups from off the floor 💪🏼🙌🙌

No ego.
No rushing.

Just patience and consistency.

This is how my clients go from “I could never do that” to stronger than they’ve ever been.

Strength isn’t built overnight.

It’s built rep by rep.

If you’ve always thought press ups aren’t for you, maybe you just haven’t started in the right place yet.

In less than a week I turn 60.

And after more than 40 years of strength training, I have absolutely NO intention of stopping.

Not because I’m chasing a certain body.

But because strength training gives me things that matter much more now:

⭐️strength to stay independent
⭐️strong bones and joints
⭐️energy for everyday life
⭐️confidence in what my body can do

When I started lifting at 16, I had no idea how valuable it would be in later life.

But now I see and feel it everyday- not just in myself but in the incredible women I coach who are getting stronger in their 50’s and 60’s.

Midlife isn’t the time to slow down.

It’s time to get STRONGER.

And it’s never too late to start.

Strength is for everyone especially midlife women.
