At Gaby’s little learners ✨🪔 Celebrating Diwali Together 🪔✨
This week, we explored the vibrant Festival of Lights — Diwali!

Our children have been learning about different cultures and celebrations, helping build their cultural capital and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.

Through colourful rangoli patterns, sparkly diyas, and festive decorations, we’ve extended our vocabulary with new words like festival, pattern, tradition, celebrate, and community.

We also explored shapes and symmetry, noticing how patterns are made and how colours come together to tell a story — all while having lots of fun!

By learning about Diwali and other cultural celebrations, children develop respect, curiosity, and a strong sense of belonging in a diverse world.
