Today is World Mental Health Day. Unfortunately mental health is with us 365 days a year, but highlighting this challenge we all face can only be a good thing.
We all know someone who suffers with their mental health. Everyone has a reason why their mental health is affected, not all want to tell you and that is their choice.
It could be bereavement, family issues, job loss, addiction, health or bullying, which is coming more to the fore with social media.
There is not enough money put into services for people with these issues and people are going without help and can ultimately take their life.
Do not judge someone with mental health issues, you have no idea what is going on in their life, and have no right to judge or make comments about their life and how they live it.
There are also people who suffer with mental health themselves who think it is alright to abuse and spread rumour about others.
This is not alright in private or public. Unfortunately people seem to have forgotten how to treat each other.
None of us are perfect, it only
takes a smile, a hug, some praise
to help someone have a better day.
Our door is always open for people to come and chat and the kettle is always on.
We don't judge, we will listen and it will go no further.
This is the main reason we as a business do not put information about the families we are caring for on our page unless they specifically ask.
I will be putting some helpful links on our page later for all of you to look at if you are in need of help.
Much Love.
