Meet Sam our fantastic Lead Supervisor and Quality Officer!
Hi,
I am Sam. I work at The Rainbow Care Group in Sheffield as the lead supervisor and quality officer. I have worked with Rainbow for 20 months now and I love it.
In my time working for Rainbow I have met some fantastic people, staff, members and families.
My role is varied, it allows me the opportunity to deliver the service and be hands on with the members which is great but it also allows me to work closely with Caroline the manager in supporting the staff team to ensure that the service being delivered is of a very high standard.
I have worked in care for most of my working life, in various settings – care homes, day centres, rehab centres, and for the last 30 years have worked mainly in management positions.
The reason I love working at Rainbow is because they are incredibly person centred. Every decision made has the members best interest at heart.
I originally come from Glasgow, I have lived in Yorkshire for 22 years now. I am a Christian and church plays a large part of my life. I live with my partner and my cat and am planning to retire in 3 or 4 years time and very much hope to remain working for The Rainbow Care Group until then.
