Many children with autism find it hard to accept being told “no.”
But here’s what most people don’t realise: this is a teachable skill.
Teaching your child to accept “no” can reduce frustration, emotional outbursts, and build long-term coping strategies.

Be cautious though—giving in after a meltdown teaches that meltdowns work. And that can make it even harder for your child next time.

With over 10 years' experience, Jubran is dedicated to empowering children with Autism and their families through personalised, evidence-based ABA strategies. Trained at BeyondAutism and Love ABA Ltd, he's passionate about fostering lifelong independence and success.

Katie
ABA Tutor
Katie brings over 7 years of ABA expertise, specialising in tutor training, behaviour reduction, and functional skill development. Having previously supported families and classrooms at Treetops School in Essex, she's excited to continue her impactful work here in Sheffield and Derbyshire.

Devika
ABA Tutor
Devika combines a strong academic background in psychology with international ABA experience from the Ardra Foundation in India. Passionate about coaching, research, and personalised support, she is committed to helping every child achieve personal and academic growth.

We are excited to announce that the ABA Sheffield Clinic is now open and accepting bookings!

Our clinic provides high-quality, evidence-based Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) therapy in a structured, supportive environment.

Our sessions provide targeted, one-to-one support to help children build fundamental skills in:

✅ Communication & Requesting – Helping children express their needs effectively
✅ Receptive Language Understanding – Strengthening the ability to follow instructions and comprehend language
✅ Imitation Skills – Encouraging learning through observation and copying others
✅ Play Skills – Supporting social interaction, creativity, and engagement in meaningful play

Each session is one hour long and tailored to the child’s developmental stage and individual learning needs.
