A few pics from Shanghai - by far the most advanced city I've visited. It felt like something out of the future. If you ignore the cameras everywhere, the government owned app you have to use to pay for everything and the duck beaks sold as a snack - it's a really awesome place.

In Japan now - if Shanghai feels like 20 years in the future, Okinawa feels like 20 years in the past. Chilled island vibes, a subtropical climate, a cooking class, some funky caves and yoga on the beach - what more could you ask for :)

(A yoga mat rather than a towel would have been handy, but then I did Yin yoga, so I wasn't flinging myself about—and I'm sure the small colony of barnacles that have attached themselves to my hairier regions will realize I’m not a pier and head back to the sea soon. :)
